Amazing experience! Maria, our tour lead, was outstanding. She made sure we got the most out of Sintra—we had coffee and pastries at an amazing café, took a breezy walk up to Palácio da Quinta, and then she dropped us off at Pena Palace, where we enjoyed the surroundings before starting our tour. The pit stop at Guincho Beach was exciting—we experienced strong winds! Next, we went to Cascais, where Maria gave excellent lunch recommendations. We opted for a chicken dish, and omg, it was so, so good! We had plenty of time to explore Cascais and truly had an amazing day guided by Maria Alfama. Could not recommend her enough!

This is a great tour for all ages. Our tour guide, Ivo is like a walking history book. He has an abundance wealth of information. Throughout the tour he explained the history of the places we have visited as well as made recommendations of what to do on each stop. I highly recommend booking this tour if you want to venture out of Lisbon to explore a bit more.

I was accidentally late, but there's probably a 30-minute grace period! However, the tuk-tuk driver said it's okay to be late. Just show the driver your ticket directly and don't mention being accidentally late or that the train was delayed! The staff will generally let you in directly, at least if there aren't too many people. I followed the tuk-tuk driver's advice and successfully entered.

The interior layout is a little confusing, but the inside is really beautiful! There's also an introduction to the initial design process and models! Architecture enthusiasts should check out this exhibition area. The food at the restaurant isn't great, though.

Part of the area was under renovation when I visited. Overall, it's really beautiful, a bit like the Great Wall. Be careful when walking, as there are no handrails here. However, it's a great spot for taking photos! It can get very windy sometimes, so be careful your hat doesn't blow away!
