Things to do in Hon Mun Island

I didn't want anything too stimulating or noisy for our island hopping trip with my two kids in 1st and 2nd grade. I found YOLO Hopping on Klook and had a fun and enjoyable time! The staff were friendly, and since I wasn't expecting much from the Vietnamese sea... I had fun playing in the ocean! This is great for the price! Especially lying down on the second floor 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Lino dances so well~~~~

It was so, so, so amazing!!! It was the best part of my 7-night, 8-day trip to Nha Trang, lol. Don't waste your money on Korean tours, just book with these guys!! They play music during the ride, which is a blast!! The guide really tries to create a fun atmosphere, lol. There were also a variety of foreigners, so it really felt like I was on an overseas trip, lol. There were surprisingly a lot of French people, along with Russians, Australians, Taiwanese, and more – it was so much fun, lol. Every time I watched Nha Trang ocean videos on YouTube, all I saw was sand, so I didn't have high expectations and even considered canceling the day before...but wow!! It was even better than Moalboal in Cebu. There were so many things to see in the water, like blue starfish, sea cucumbers?, Christmas trees?, and more!! This is based on someone who can dive about 5 meters. The location wasn't around the islands, but it seemed like this company has their own special spot, lol. It's okay if you can't swim!! They lend out tubes, and there are about 3 paddle boards to play with. The guide also gets in the water with you and catches starfish, etc., lol. Plus, the Westerners were all diving off the boat and having fun. Even though it was the rainy season, the weather was absolutely perfect, so I was super happy, lol. The morning through early afternoon was jam-packed and fulfilling for half of my waking hours. Although the rain prevented us from going to the pristine Mini Beach, the staff recommended the Mud Package as an alternative, and I highly recommend it! Playing in the water and healing with mud was a great choice. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

experience: better than I expected, boat was on time, safe, clear and nice, just 7-10 minutes from the main land. beach are clean and beautiful, there are lifeguard in there too. Mud bath is good experience, having many baths for one person or up to a group (I guess about 7-8 people)

experience: after watching many reviews about explore the Hon Tam island , I would like to recommend you the itinerary like this: you should come to the island at 8am, enjoy your beach time then at 9:30 or 10 AM you can have the mud bath, after 20 minutes you can go to the mineral springs. That time the mud bath was less crowded, you can have mud bath immediately without have a line. End up with buffet for lunch is perfect ( I didn’t have buffet in there so I will enjoy more time on the beach). Staff are friendly and helpful. There are many water sports in there too.

itinerary: suitable to snorkeling in 3 spots, unfortunately I went on a cloudy day so the water doesn’t clear enough to see fish, the 1st spot had more fish than the other places. boat condition: clean and safe, have enough life vest for all passengers and there are in good condition, not smelling. There are changing/bath room and restroom on boat, both of them are clean too, better than I expected. 💯💯💯. on the top of the boat you can take snap whirl traveling to the next spot and there is a small catus garden. guide: friendly and supportive, take care passengers carefully. Lunch and bakery are good. Friendly reminder from my experience, bring your big towels to cover your body when traveling to the other spot cause it is so windy and cold .

For around ₩30,000, you get round-trip hotel transportation, a cruise, BBQ and snacks, and snorkeling gear rental. It was a cost-effective and memorable tour. They provide water, but only a cup at a time in a paper cup, so it's a good idea to bring your own water. It would also be good to have a towel or hat to block the sun. Sunscreen is a must.
