Things to do in Shanghai Circus World

The makeup was lovely, and there were so many cute styles of Hanfu to choose from. Best of all, the photographer was especially kind; he patiently taught me how to pose, and I ended up with some really great photos. I've truly fallen in love with Shanghai!

It was a great experience with the photographer, makeup artists, and hairstylists. I felt very beautiful; they did exactly what I wanted.

I was walking around all day and my back and legs were so sore that I wanted to change my appointment to an earlier time. I was so grateful that they responded quickly and made the change for me. I was too tired to even speak, but they seemed to understand and only said the bare minimum, and the massage was incredibly refreshing. :) The atmosphere was great, and I had a full body and foot massage, both of which were very invigorating! I wanted to get another foot massage the next day, but I didn't have time, which is a shame. Miniso is downstairs, so it was great to be able to shop with a refreshed body after the massage. ◡̈ I think it said No. 5... they really give great massages! I highly recommend it!

Beautiful views. We chose to pay extra for VIP, it was less crowded and we had the front of the boat almost entirely to ourselves. This cruise was the highlight of our trip.

My first Hanfu experience! The lavish meal and show were absolutely delightful! We arrived an hour and a half before the show started, but there was quite a wait for makeup. If you have extra time, I recommend arriving early. I made the reservation via WeChat. I sent a message considering the time difference, but the reply was slow. However, I was glad we got to enjoy our meal from the very front row! The outfits were pre-arranged, and while the one I tried on wasn't quite what I imagined, I couldn't change it. There were also accessories like fans and capes, but they were first-come, first-served, so be aware of that! I showed a reference photo for my makeup, but they declined, so I left it up to them! All the staff members were very kind!

The fact that you can eat a full bufet (that were actually a good bufet with lobster, lamb carré and more) at one of the coolest buildings in the world with view of the best skyline in the world. This is a must and should be on the bucket list not only for people visiting Shanghai/China, but travelers in general. 10/10. PS. stand in line 1 - 1 and a half hour if you want the best view. It is totally worth it.
