We boarded three separate cruise ships! Check-in is (presumably) up to 30 minutes before departure, and the meeting time at the boarding area is 10 minutes prior. However, I recommend waiting inside the building where check-in is located, as there are food vendors and tables, which will keep you warm. Japanese guests are grouped together and accompanied by staff members who speak Japanese! We took an evening cruise, and although it was cold, warm drinks and blankets were provided for us to use freely. They even launched fireworks from a spot where Gwangandaegyo Bridge was visible and took photos for us with our own smartphones and cameras!

I had the most amazing time. Daniel was so knowledgable and friendly and accommodating. We had long conversations about the history and details of each area and I managed to squeeE so much out of a short period of time. He was also very attentive in giving instructions and checking in and asking for my preferences. All together he made the tour worth while. Thank you so much, Daniel. I would recommend you anytime for patience, your attention to detail and for making the tour educational, exciting and fun

An incredible experience in Busan! We had an absolutely perfect day thanks to our guide, Sean. She was extremely warm, attentive, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience throughout the entire tour. Everything was very well organized and the day flowed smoothly. We were able to discover many places and learn a lot without ever feeling rushed, stressed, or tired. Sean and Cynthia truly created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It was a day that was both enriching, productive, and very pleasant. A huge thank you to Sean for her energy and kindness. We highly recommend this tour 100%

What to know about Haeundae Blueline Park

Haeundae Blue Line Park is one of the most scenic and underrated attractions in Busan. It takes you along the coastline on a beautiful journey using two unique options: the colorful Busan Sky Capsule or the faster Beach Train. Whether you're riding above the sea or walking the trails, you're in for sweeping views of the East Sea, clear blue water, and a peaceful escape from the city. Opened in 2020, this former railway line has quickly become a must-visit spot in Busan.

Things to Do at Haeundae Blue Line Park

Ride the Busan Sky Capsule

Hop on the Busan Sky Capsule for a slow, colorful ride between Mipo and Cheongsapo. It moves at a gentle pace, so you can soak in the ocean views, take great photos, and just relax. Each capsule fits up to four people, and it's perfect for couples, friends, or families looking for a fun ride with a view.

Hop Aboard the Beach Train

The Beach Train covers the full route from Mipo to Songjeong Beach. It's quicker than the capsule and great for those who want to see more in less time. Grab a free use pass so you can hop on and off at different stops without paying again. This is the best value option if you're planning to explore the whole route.

Walk the Coastal Trail

One of the best parts of Haeundae Blue Line Park is the walking trail between Cheongsapo and Mipo. You'll walk alongside the water, feel the breeze, and maybe even spot Oryukdo Islands in the distance. This trail is especially beautiful at sunset, so try to time your visit accordingly.

Check Out the Glass Skywalk

Near Cheongsapo Station, you'll find a glass bridge that lets you look straight down at the ocean. If you're brave enough to walk across, the views are worth it! On clear days, you can even see all the way to one of Japan's islands---40 kilometers across the sea.

Visit Songjeong Beach

End your journey at Songjeong Beach, Busan's go-to spot for surfing. This beach is popular with locals and tourists alike. Whether you want to try water sports, grab a bite, or simply relax on the sand, this is a great final stop.

Tips Before Visiting Haeundae Blue Line Park

Buy the Free Use Train Pass

It's more flexible and lets you explore each stop along the way without buying separate tickets.

Book the Busan Sky Capsule Early

It often sells out, especially on weekends. If you can't get a ticket, the train is a great alternative.

Time Your Walk for Sunset

The stretch between Cheongsapo and Mipo is especially stunning in the late afternoon. Don't miss it!

Carry Your Trash

The park is very clean, but there are very few trash bins. Bring a small bag to hold your rubbish until you find one.

Watch Out for Seagulls

Especially near Songjeong Beach---some visitors said the birds were bold and sounded oddly like monkeys!
