Almost all the staff can speak Chinese, which is very convenient. The self-service bar is rich, the shrimp in sauce is very fresh and sweet, the female crab roe is very delicious, the crab meat is a bit fishy, but the rice wrapped in seaweed is also good! Overall, it is easy to get tired of it, so you can order a single set meal.

great food and service. some miscommunication as even klook says reservation is not guaranteed, restaurant already have records and reserved table. so i doubled book via another platform. food was great just that portion is too little. one person can eat 2.5 pax portion..

this is not their main branch so it is less crowded but the space is quite small. we visited around 6.30pm on a Sunday and there were less than 3 groups of customers but more started to stream in as we left. food is good especially the braised pork leg which was well marinated..

Dinner in Jihwaja was truly unforgettable. Every dish was fresh, showcasing the depth and
elegance of traditional Korean royal cuisine. The flavors were delicate yet rich, and each course felt like a work of art-exquisite from start to finish.
The service was warm and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and refined taste of Korea's culinary heritage,

This meal for two is rich and delicious. You can help yourself to kimchi, mussels, mixed vegetables, etc. There is also white bread, but white rice needs to be purchased separately?

I went there with my family. We had already booked the female crab meal on Klook, so we didn't have to arrive at the booked time. We asked for 11 o'clock as our preferred time in the system, but we went at 5 pm that day. We could still eat there, but the clerk would confirm your name information first. The restaurant is on the second floor. The environment is clean and bright. The toilet is super bright and looks like an internet celebrity store. The clerk can speak Chinese, so communication is not a problem. You can ask if you don’t know how to eat. The female crab set meal has a lot of crab roe, and it’s super delicious when eaten with bibimbap! If you don't have enough rice, you can add more. The shrimps are also very fresh~ But the marinated shrimps still have a bit of fishy smell, and they are more delicious when cooked 😂 The female crab set meal is quite full for one person. If you feel a little greasy after eating, you can go downstairs and there are EDIYA, compose, and Mega coffee next door to relieve the greasy feeling. Overall, it is highly recommended for those who want to try marinated crab for the first time!

A 6-minute walk from Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station on Subway Line 4. A ganjang specialty restaurant in the Dongdaemun area. This restaurant serves fresh crabs from the west coast of Korea, marinated in a secret special sauce, making it an excellent dish. They offer a female crab set menu and an all-you-can-eat male crab menu, so you can easily visit alone or in a group. Another great value menu is the soy-marinated shrimp and bibimbap set menu. ▼Female crab gejang set menu 3,618 yen A bright orange crab was brought to me, and I was captivated by its beauty. With one bite, the sweetness of the crab and the deep flavor of the secret sauce were exquisite, and the subtle aroma of fruit and herbal medicine was impressive. It was not too salty, so it went perfectly with white rice. When I ate it with the rich crab miso on top, it was even more luxurious. The self-service makgeolli and side dish bar were also appreciated, and the gentle sweetness of the makgeolli further enhanced the taste of the gejang. There is a Japanese menu and simple Japanese support is also available, so there is no need to worry about the language barrier. Located in the heart of Dongdaemun, it is also a great place to stop by between sightseeing and shopping. This is the perfect spot for those who love Ganjang Gejang or want to enjoy a unique Korean food experience.
