You can really choose this one when you come to Versailles. The experience is great! The local contact was timely and enthusiastic. Teacher Jia's explanation was full of practical and interesting information, not boring, and the amount of information was just right! I recommended it to my friends immediately after the end

Since I was traveling to Paris with my parents, I wanted to book a tour for at least one day, so I booked it, and it was a very satisfying trip! The explanations were easy to listen to, the process was very clean, and the radio session was really good :) The weather was very hot, but they helped me guide me without making me uncomfortable, and they took a lot of pretty pictures for me, so I was grateful! And the ham bon beurre was the best I've ever had, and the croissants sold at the bakery were also really delicious. ㅎㅎ

The palace is very large and magnificent, even bigger and nobler than the one in the UK. There were more than 10 tourists that day, but they still moved forward in an orderly manner. It is worth recommending for sightseeing.

While preparing for a trip to France, I wanted to visit Giverny, and I think it was a good decision to go on a tour:)!! Guide Ki Sung-ju led the tour, and I was able to understand the painters even more, and he explained things well, so I was so immersed in each tour stop-!! It was difficult to take pictures together in France, but he took pretty pictures here and there, so I was so grateful☺️If you're thinking about taking a Giverny tour, I highly recommend it!! I'll come back with my family next time😆

Things to do at Palace Versailles

Walk Through the Main Palace (Château de Versailles)

Follow a one-way path through rooms filled with golden décor, murals, and royal furniture. You'll see the King's Apartments, Queen's Wing, and more.

Marvel at the Hall of Mirrors

This famous gallery is 250 feet of chandeliers, gold trim, and reflection. It's not just beautiful, it's where the Treaty of Versailles was signed to end World War I.

Explore the Gardens

These massive gardens stretch for miles and are full of fountains, sculptures, and tree-lined paths. Don't miss the Apollo Fountain, which symbolizes Louis XIV's "Sun King" persona.

Row a Boat on the Grand Canal

Rent a boat, and enjoy peaceful views from the water.

Visit the Grand Trianon

This pink marble retreat was Louis XIV's private escape. It's more relaxed and less crowded than the main palace.

Explore the Queen's Hamlet

Tucked behind the Petit Trianon, this charming village was created for Marie Antoinette to escape royal life and "play peasant." It's quiet, cute, and a total contrast to the grandeur of the main palace.

Tips Before Visiting Versailles Palace

Skip the Line with a Tour

Even with a ticket, the line can be overwhelming. Tours often use separate entrances and save you tons of time.

Don't Miss the Gardens

The palace is grand, but the gardens are just as important. Bring water, comfortable shoes, and give yourself time to enjoy the scenery.

Photo Tip

In the Hall of Mirrors, walk straight to the end before taking photos. You'll get better lighting and fewer people in the background.

Watch the Weather

Rainy days mean fewer garden views, but better lighting inside the palace for seeing art details.

Golf Cart = Game Changer

If you're short on time or energy, renting a golf cart helps you see Marie Antoinette's Hamlet and the Trianons without the long walk.

Pack a Picnic

The food on site is expensive and not great. Save money (and time) by bringing sandwiches, fruit, or snacks.

The Gardens of Versailles

These are a central part of your visit. The manicured lawns, fountains, and sculptures stretch out behind the palace and offer hours of peaceful wandering.

Petit Trianon

A smaller, more intimate palace where Marie Antoinette stayed. It's elegant but less showy.

Queen's Hamlet

A hidden gem. This fairytale-style village gives you a completely different look at royal life, charming and relaxed compared to the palace's grandeur.
