Our tour guide Steven Yanagi was organized and thoughtful. Not only did he serve as our driver, but he also shared many interesting facts about Jeju Island and even teached us some Korean phrases.
Steven is impressively multilingual—fluent in English, Mandarin, and even Cantonese! His explanations were full of energy, making the entire trip enjoyable. Best of all, there was no forced shopping—just genuine sightseeing. We had ample time at each stop.
Among all the attractions, my favorites were:
- Jusangjeolli Cliff —The hexagonal rock formations were absolutely breathtaking! It’s amazing how volcanic lava could cool into such a magnificent landscape.
- The Green Tea Museum—though it’s more of a specialty shop and café selling green tea souvenirs than a traditional museum. There was even an Innisfree store, making it a shopping paradise!
Overall, it was a fantastic day trip, all thanks to Steven’s professionalism, and excellent guiding skills.
