Fantastic 5.0
Based on my visits to several Premier League stadiums, the Liverpool stadium tour experience was truly the best. From the facilities and the staff's service attitude to the overall venue experience, everything was top-notch. If you're a Liverpool fan, you absolutely must go; it's highly recommended.

Fantastic 5.0
On August 29, 2026, I had the opportunity to go to Anfield Stadium to support the Liverpool team. I bought tickets through Klook, which allowed me to enter the party area at Brodies, where there were free drinks and food (included with the ticket). Afterward, I entered the stadium in a designated area to watch the game and experience the fan atmosphere! The tickets were sent to my email approximately two to three days beforehand, and then I had to install them in Apple Wallet or Google Play to scan my phone with NFC for entry. Also, please note that only bags smaller than A5 size are allowed into the stadium; large backpacks are not permitted. If you're driving, remember to book your parking space in advance! Premier League Matchday 2: Liverpool drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest at home. ⚽ Liverpool 2-2 Nottingham Forest

The Beatles Story Museum is a must-visit for music lovers & Beatles fans alike. The immersive exhibits, recreated iconic locations & fascinating memorabilia bring the band’s incredible journey to life. The audio guide adds great insight, making the experience both engaging and nostalgic. A fantastic attraction that perfectly captures the spirit & legacy of the Fab Four in their hometown of Liverpool. Highly recommended!

Fantastic 5.0
well-conceived and presented experience of walk-through exhibition of Beatles’ history, artifacts, photos, videos, and tableaux. highest recommendation. Best gift shop, too. we had first gone to the Liverpool Beatles Museum; while worth the trip for a die-hard fan, if you only have time for one Beatles Museum definitely do this one. allow at least 90-minutes plus gift shop time.

I really enjoyed this trip! Our tour guide and driver, Jean, was absolutely lovely, bubbly and so much fun to be around. She’s also a fantastic driver! She took us on the road less travelled so we could enjoy some beautiful views of the lake. Such a wonderful experience! ❤️

The Mersey Ferry River Explorer Cruise is a fantastic way to experience Liverpool from a completely different perspective. Cruising along the River Mersey offers beautiful views of the city and its waterfront while giving you an insight into the river’s fascinating history. The River Mersey has played a huge role in Liverpool’s development, particularly in its growth as one of the world’s great maritime and trading cities. The cruise brings that history to life, highlighting the river’s importance to Liverpool’s identity, industry and connection with the wider world. A relaxing, informative and enjoyable experience—definitely worth doing when visiting Liverpool! 🚢🌊

What to know before visiting Liverpool

Top experiences and when to visit

Liverpool’s top things to do revolve around museums and cultural attractions, followed by big-ticket events and shows, then walking tours, river cruises and a few observation-deck options. Demand rises through late spring and peaks in July, while bookings dip around November, so you’ll see the city liveliest in the summer months.

Best picks for families, couples and solo travellers

Families will find museums and tours especially easy — museums lead in bookings and suit a range of ages, while gentle cruises offer an approachable, budget-friendly option. Couples are likely drawn to the Events & shows mix for special nights out and the city’s observation points for a scenic atmosphere. Solo travellers and small groups can make the most of walking tours and museums to explore at their own pace without a big spend.

What travellers from the United States should book ahead

Most visitors plan around nine days ahead on average, with the earliest planners booking roughly four weeks out; this makes planning useful if your trip falls in the peak period of July. For peak-month travel, lock in high-demand Events & shows tickets earlier, while museums, tours and cruises are often still available a few days before but can fill up during busy spells.

How categories compare on price and who they suit

Cruises are the easiest way in on price, offering the lowest typical midpoint cost and a straightforward entry option. Museums and tours sit in the mid-range, appealing to budget-conscious travellers and families who want reliable value. Events & shows are the priciest and show the widest spread of options, ranging from premium headline performances to more moderate offerings — they suit couples and anyone seeking a special evening out. Observation decks sit modestly above the lowest tiers and are good for visitors wanting a compact, scenic experience.
