My Tho

Had an amazing trip. very well organized by Elbiee, the tour operator from SST Travels and even better executed by our guide Ryan. Travelling with a naughty toddler and an infant, we had our reservations initially about booking the trip. However, all our doubts were gone with the way the entire trip was handled. It was meticulous, well timed, food preferences were taken care of during the lunch and brilliant in terms of the coverage of activities like visit to the coconut candy facility, motorboat ride, traditional row boat ride, visit to the local house for tea and fruits and visit to the apiary. All in all, if you ever want to get a feeling of the life in Mekong Delta, this is it! it's a complete package with full value for money. You will return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening with utter satisfaction and a smile on your face. Big shout out to both Ryan and Elbiee!

We had an amazing experience with Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels tour. We learnt about various forms of paintings. We would especially like to thank our tour guide, Iris. She was extremely sweet, kind, and very knowledgeable, sharing insightful stories about Vietnam’s history and culture. Iris even taught us a few Vietnamese words, which made the experience more fun and interactive. She went out of her way to capture beautiful photos of everyone without us even asking. Everything was perfectly coordinated, smooth, and well-paced. Highly recommend Iris for a memorable and well-managed Vietnam tour!

If you're short on time and don't want to spend too much of it on Chu Chi tunnels, the Mekong Delta relaxing day tour is a great option. They'll pick you up from your place and drop you off near your hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Plus, they give you awesome explanations and guidance about Vietnam's history and all the places you visit. It's super fun and informative.

Our tour guide Anna was a pleasant girl. She speaks clear English. They will pick the guests up from their respective hotels. We were the first ones to be fetched by them. The tour guide was very punctual. By 730, the tour guide was already at the lobby waiting for us. She asked the reception to call us. Then, the bus will drive around to nearby hotels to fetch other guests. The journey to My Tho was roughly 1 hour 20 minutes. We reached our first destination at around 10AM which was a temple. Then, we proceeded to the Boat terminal to board a big boat to reach an island. The first stop was to have tea and some local fruits while some local girls performed a singing performance to us. Then, we proceeded to take a sampan boat ride through the narrow Mekong river path where our big boat was waiting for us. Each boat can carry 4 passengers. Then, we headed to a coconut candy factory to learn the process of making coconut candy. Lastly, we had lunch at a nearby restaurant and left at 2.

Phú (John Wick) was a fantastic tour guide for our Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong River day tour. He was very knowledgeable and explained Vietnam’s history in a way that was interesting and easy to understand. He was also friendly, patient, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the long day. Everything was well-organised and smooth, and the experience was truly enjoyable. What truly set Phú apart was his extraordinary kindness and care when my mum hurt her back during the tour and struggled to walk. He did everything in his power to help and accommodate her, making sure she was comfortable and safe at all times. He even sent and personally accompanied my family to the hospital, staying with us for hours, and checked in on my mum’s condition again the next day. Phú went far beyond his role as a tour guide, and our family is incredibly grateful for his compassion and support. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly, highly recommended Phú!

Lili is an experienced tour guide who knows the exciting stories behind Vietnam. She is professional and able to share the past, present and future of Vietnam with passion. This tour allows for a relaxed appreciation of the various sights within the Mekong Delta, with opportunities to interact with elements of the nature.

Our guide, Viet, was a jolly person who spoke very well and took care of us. He captured photographs for us and made the long journey very enjoyable and relaxing. He always explained the reasons behind every event and spoke about the culture of the people living on the island. He detailed why five different types of fruits are placed on a plate, how they mix crops, and how this has happened, resulting in increased yield. All of these points were very nicely and beautifully explained by Viet. That is why a person like him could survive in such a competitive and repetitive industry, doing things for more than 22 years. The patience and adaptability skills he possesses are unbelievable. The food was excellent and it was very nicely served to us. Finally, we visited the temple or pagoda of the Laughing Buddha. It was really a wonderful experience in spite of the heat. Strongly recommended for people who want privacy and pleasure. Thank you Viet.

Our family had a wonderful time on this tour, it was a packed itinerary and it was a lovely way to celebrate my birthday. Our tour guide, Ry, was very animated, funny and went out of his way to make sure everything was good for his group. The transfers (minibus) was comfortable and the driver, highly skilled. I would recommend this tour...you will get to see Vietnam from a different angle.
