Fantastic 5.0
Visited the Acropolis in Athens and it was absolutely breathtaking.. The history, the views, and the iconic Parthenon make it a must-see. One thing I learned the hard way...wear proper footwear!😅 The pathways are very stony and can be slippery, so comfortable shoes make a huge difference. Totally worth it, but be prepared!

a beautiful place. the guide was amazing. the travel well organized. the lunch food is okay, you buy the drinks. the only issue i had was during the start of the trip. it was a bit disorganized where i had to run bus by bus looking for my tour because there will be a lot of bus in the meeting point with different meteora tours and you wont know where is yours. i recommend you go early for buffer time, look at your name in the list the drivers carry rather than asking them, coz they dont know which is which either if u just show them your ticket. otherwise, it was a fun trip. 10/10

Fantastic 5.0
The views of Meteora far exceeded my expectations. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the monasteries perched atop the towering rock formations make this a truly unforgettable destination. It’s definitely worth the visit. The only downside is that, because Meteora is quite remote, the time allocated for each monastery is rather short. I would have loved to spend more time exploring and appreciating each one.

It is a must visit for the sheer grandeur and history that this place carries. The mueseum is probably among the best international museums I have visited, each panel has written details. The Acropolis hill may have a few more water fountains for the visitors specially in summer, me and my wife took multiple stops in the heat to reach the top.

Highly recommend this day cruise if you want to maximize your time and see three gorgeous islands without any stress. The ship was wonderful, the food was tasty, and the entertainment on the return journey was a great touch. Hydra, Poros, and Aegina are all incredibly unique and beautiful. It’s a busy day with a lot of sailing, but it is entirely worth it to see three islands so easily. Don't forget to buy the local pistachio ice cream in Aegina! There wasn't much briefing on the itinerary during bus pickup but I am glad the cruise team did explain it after we left.

Watching the sunset at Tanah Lot Temple was worth it, even with the full moon and the slightly longer travel time; the unforgettable scenery made up for it. Thank you to our guide, Katerina, for her enthusiasm and for expertly handling the traffic. Due to time constraints and limited food options, I recommend preparing in advance. On the way there, choose a seat on the right side of the vehicle for ocean views.

What to know before visiting Athens

Quick snapshot of Municipality of Athens

Municipality of Athens sees most bookings for Tours, Historical sites and Museums, with Tours the single largest category. Demand peaks in mid-summer and drops sharply in late autumn and winter, so the city’s rhythm swings between busy summer months and a quiet off-season.

When to visit for your priorities

Klook booking data show July as the peak month for demand, while November is the quietest, and demand is generally highest through June–July and much lower around November–December. Prices, however, peak in February according to Klook data and reach their lowest typical level in December; prices climb from December into late winter before easing again toward spring and early summer. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider visiting in November–December when demand is low and Klook prices are typically at their softest; for full summer atmosphere and activity you’ll find July is the liveliest month on Klook.

Tips for travellers from the United States

Most travellers from the United States on Klook tend to book about a week ahead, so you can be flexible but it helps to plan around peak July demand. If you want to lock in specific tours or popular historical-site tickets during busy months, aim to book earlier; for quieter months you’ll often find more availability closer to departure. Use Klook to compare tours and museum options and secure the experiences you care about before travel.
