Transport in Venice

Got ourselves a 7-day Global Pass and travelled through 5 countries. Buying the pass was easy but how to use the app for activating the pass will need some time to learn. However, fear not as there are many experienced people out willing to share. Do some readings and join some fb travel groups and you will surprised by the information available. The pass was flexible but the train schedule can be unpredictable which means you need to be updated requently to stay on course of your journey. We only experienced one hicccup on one of the trips at Berlin due to seat reservation issue and missing the connecting train due to delay of the first train. The other trips were as planned.

value for money especially for those who wish to visit Murano and Burano. the tickets can be activated easily from atv machines stationed all over Venice.

Easy to use. I have used the voucher at the exit airport exchange for the paper tickets. Then I went to the line and gave the ticket to them.

Navigating the outdoor bus station was tricky with so many local buses moving around. To avoid getting lost, match your bus to the photo—it really helps. Don’t bring luggage on this one, though! It’s a quick and easy ride to the departure hall, just 15 minutes to Marco Polo Airport.
