Things to do in Auckland

My family and I love the tour in overall. our tour guide, she was so professional and friendly (8:10 am 7/12). we are blessed with the good nice weather. i recommend to go in the morning, as it’s not that hot during summer.

Our driver and guide, David, was very happy when we met him. I learned a lit of things and trivias about New Zealand as well as Auckland. He was very nice. The time for the tour was enough. Our guide within the Hobbiton, Kingston, was so funny! he was very effective as a guide.

very friendly staff, views were beautiful even though it was overcast when we went, if you’ve been to other towers around the world it’s definitely a must do to compare how high you can go!

We had such a great time on the Auckland Whale & Dolphin Watching tour! The guides were also marine biologists, which made the trip even more meaningful—we really appreciated their insights about the animals and how they track the chances of spotting dolphins and whales. We were lucky enough to see at least six whales that day, even though they didn’t get very close to the boat. The ride was a little choppy, but that’s just part of being out on the ocean. The tour itself was very well organized, and overall it was an awesome and memorable experience!

Value for money if you select from their menu of activities, which covers a lot.

A steep price to pay, but it was a good experience. We made lots of stops, maybe around five. We saw geothermal mud pools, saw the Lady Knox Geyser eruption, explored Thermal Wonderland, visited the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest, saw a stream with blue water (don’t know the name), and made a pitstop at the animal-shaped buildings in Tirau. The guide drove nicely and was helpful.

The Auckland War Memorial Museum was incredibly informative and exceeded our expectations. There were various exhibits that covered history, culture, and natural science in a very engaging way. Each section was well-curated and easy to explore. I highly suggest joining the Māori cultural experience, as it was both powerful and beautifully presented. Overall, the museum is a must-visit for anyone wanting to understand New Zealand’s rich heritage.
