Fantastic 5.0
It is affordable but only around 8 slides are opened, it would be better to visit it after they open up every slides!

Fantastic 5.0
We had a great time with a family at the Minera resort. A place full of relaxation with a lot of mineral pool and bath. Nice forest and crodolile feeding.

Fantastic 5.0
It wasn't as big as I expected, and even on a weekday, there were quite a few people. The pool was much smaller than I thought. The view was nice since it's on a mountain.

The trip was enjoyable and filled with valuable learning experiences. The locations we visited were wonderful, and our tour guide, Henry, was knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring throughout the journey.

Fantastic 5.0
Our tour guide was very informative and helpful. We didn't expect to be walking 900+ steps to the hands of the Jesus Christ Statue (and another 900+ steps back down) but the view was inside breathtaking. The beach was very warm and calm. Great sights for a day tour in Vung Tau City.

What to know before visiting Vung Tau

Top experiences at a glance

Vung Tau City is best known for lively water parks, followed by a healthy mix of tours and scenic cable car rides; museums appear less often in bookings. Demand rises through spring to a clear peak in April, then softens into the autumn trough around September.

What different travellers enjoy here

Families tend to head for the water parks — they dominate bookings and suit groups with kids looking for splash-and-play fun. Couples will often choose tours and cable car experiences for scenic, shared moments and things that feel a little special. Solo travellers and small groups can find quick museum visits or shorter cable car trips appealing for easy, low-effort sightseeing.

What travellers from the United States typically book ahead

Most activities here are flexible to book close in — travelers from the United States typically reserve around a day out, though the earliest planners book roughly three days ahead. Booking ahead becomes more important in the peak period around April, when demand is noticeably higher.

How categories compare on price and who they suit

Museums are the easiest, most budget-friendly way into Vung Tau’s attractions, offering low-cost options for price-conscious visitors. Water parks also sit at an entry-to-mid price level but attract the highest volume, making them a family-friendly staple. Tours are the priciest and show the widest range of price points, so they suit travellers looking for mid-range to premium guided experiences. Cable cars fall between these, providing scenic value for couples and sightseers without the top-end cost of some tours.
