    Are you a Broadway fan? Are you traveling to New York and want to catch some of the most popular Broadway shows? Here are five shows every Broadway fan should watch when they're in New York.

    1. Aladdin

    Currently showing at the New Amsterdam Theatre on 42nd Street, Aladdin features all of your favorite Broadway hits. Telling the story of Aladdin, a street urchin, who uses his wits to win over the heart of Princess Jasmine at first sight. He must also deal with the evil Jafar, which is always fun for all ages.

    2. Lion King

As his father, Mufasa, teaches him about life as a new future king, he must deal with Scar, his evil Uncle who wants the throne for himself.  The popular songs, strong ensemble, and the on-stage special effects make this show a broadway fan's dream from its first note to the last note of the last song.

    3. Wicked

    The retelling of the beloved “Wizard of Oz”, Wicked is a story about an unlikely friendship between two witches: Glinda and Elphaba. Full of Broadway hits like “For Good” and “Popular,” and your quintessential Broadway magic, Wicked is a musical-lover’s dream come true.  

    4. Chicago

This show follows Roxie Hart, an aspiring performer, who kills her lover (and isn't sorry about it) after she realizes he's having an affair with another woman. When she goes to jail for her crime, she meets one of Chicago’s most beloved stars, Velma Kelly, who has just been arrested for killing her husband and his mistress – and chaos ensues. A definite must-see, this show is Broadway at its finest!
