5 Wildlife Adventures Await You at Dubai Safari Park
What’s a trip to any country without getting to know its wildlife? Learn all about the ins and outs of the creatures that call Dubai its home at Dubai Safari Park.
When it comes to wildlife experiences in Dubai, this safari park is the first-of-its-kind and the most famous zoo in Dubai. The Dubai Safari Park is an eco-friendly and interactive wildlife reserve to increase awareness about animal conservation. Dubai Safari Park’s location near the outskirts of the city allows it to provide wide-roaming spaces for its many animals, as well as a comfortable viewing experience for guests. Visitors can tour and interact with around 2,500 animals from 250 different species at the 119-hectare park. There are five different zones with artificial ecosystems that the animals call home. Here’s what to expect from each of them!

    1. African Village

Dubai Safari Park actually offers you the chance to go on an elephant ride—give it a go!
African Village brings you a taste of the tropical African savannah and the opportunity to interact with the largest and smallest of mammals. Meet your favourite wild animals, from meerkats to wild lions–Marvel at the African elephant’s large stature and the beautiful colours of the peacock’s feathers. Various birds, snakes, and monkeys also await at the Grand Aviary, Reptile House, and Gorilla House.

The Arabian Desert Safari is a unique drive-through experience through the habitats of the well-known animals of the Arabian Peninsula. Observe the Arabian oryx, the sand and mountain gazelles, the white antelope, the addax, and, most famously, the Arabian wolf as they roam about the desert-like enclosure. See the beautiful fur coats and strong horns of these exciting species.

    3. Asian Village

At the Asian Village, experience a tropical rainforest safari, the home to the beautiful moon bear, most recognizable for the crescent-shaped patch in the middle of its chest. You can also spot the different fur coats of the gibbons hiding in the trees and the striking coloured feathers of the Mandarin Ducks perching by the water. The Asian Village Theatre also presents a fantastic show titled “Amazing Creatures of the World,” where various animals take the stage to showcase their cool skills and abilities.

    4. Explorer Village

Possibly the most popular attraction at Dubai Safari Park, Explorer Village is another drive-through experience where visitors can safely pass through the wilderness of Africa and then Asia. Wave hello from the comfort of a tour bus to cheetahs, tigers, rhinos, and water buffalos as they go about their day. Come face-to-face with the tall giraffes for a feeding session at the Giraffe Platform. Then, check out what hippopotamuses do underwater at the Hippo Aquarium!
