Booking through Klook was hassle free. just needed to show QR code upon entry and that’s the start to an amazing time. we went on wed to have activities conducted in English. everything is very intricate and there are great learnings for the occupations my kids participated in. we went for first shift but popular job like fire fighter got booked out real early. otherwise it was really enjoyable.
We live in San Francisco and we are traveling to Tokyo with two kids (8 & 4). Both of my kids had a great time at Kidzania! Our daughter’s favorite was the fire department, and our son’s favorite was to make cheesecake at the Milk House (second floor). We came here on the English Wednesday, most jobs were conducted in English but definitely not all. This place isn’t massive but you and your kids can easily spend 5+ hours there because there are a lot of jobs to try and you have to “pre-book” each job up to two jobs at all times, so you end up spending some time to wait for your kids’ scheduled job activities. Food are available for purchase inside the venue (Burger, fries, hotdogs etc) so you wouldn’t need to worry about lunch or dinner while your kids enjoy the jobs. I’d recommend bringing kids who are at least 4, though 5+ is ideal so they have more patience to learn the jobs.
This attraction is designed specifically for children, where parents can only wait on the sidelines. It's a place where kids feel grown-up the moment they enter, as they have to work and be independent. While almost everything here is explained and communicated in Japanese, it's truly impressive how children can fully immerse themselves and understand everything.
very fun experience for kids! they love it a lot! download the app before going to easily check the available slots.
we had a hard time understanding the system. there is a max of reserving 1-2 jobs. you can’t book the next job until you hv completed the ones you reserved previously. it was quite frustrating. the pizza, sweets factory and fire fighters are the most popular. at the end of the session, you can only spend your kidz money at the department store, not the national kidz store. well, we will hv to spend our kidz money cuz we didn’t know. the job experience itself is fun. even though the system was frustrating, the kids want to go back and play again. there are too many to do. one session is not enough.
A 6-year-old child who doesn't speak any Japanese or English had a great time. Tips: 1. It starts at 4 PM, but you should be able to get a queue number starting at 3 PM. After getting the number, you can go shopping. 2. The reservation rule is that the assembly time for the second reserved activity cannot be later than the assembly time for the first. So you can reserve a popular activity for the first slot, such as 5 PM, and then reserve a second activity for, say, 4:20 PM.
HIGHLY recommended experience!! the kids had so much fun here we had to buy a second shift!
amazing for my kids. I think while u saw lots of toddlers there, this would be most fun for kids over 6 who can actually understand what they are doing. also saw lots of children with disability on the day I went so it was great to see how they are very inclusive. it was so much fun and the kids are asking when they can go back as we only had time to do 5 activities. it takes about 40mins for each job.
