Reviews
For a memorable night on the Chao Phraya River, the Unicorn River Cruise offers a delightful blend of scenic beauty and cultural entertainment. Boarding at ICONSIAM, guests are welcomed with warm hospitality and a lively atmosphere that sets the tone for the evening. ✨ The cruise sails past Bangkok’s iconic landmarks—Wat Arun, the Grand Palace—bathed in golden light. The rooftop deck provides panoramic views perfect for photos or quiet reflection. 🎶 Live music and traditional Thai performances add a festive, immersive touch. Whether you're with friends, family, or traveling solo, the vibe is upbeat and inclusive. 🍽️ The buffet is generous, with Thai and international options, though the flavors are modest. It’s not a culinary standout, but the overall experience compensates. ✅ Recommended for the views, ambiance, and entertainment. Not for foodies—but ideal for those chasing riverfront magic.
If you're looking for a magical evening on the Chao Phraya River, the Unicorn River Cruise delivers a truly enchanting experience. From the moment you board at ICONSIAM, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that sets the tone for the night. ✨ The cruise glides past Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks—Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, and more—all beautifully lit under the evening sky. The open-air rooftop deck offers stunning 360° views, perfect for photos or just soaking in the city’s charm. 🎶 Live music and traditional Thai dance performances add a cultural touch, making the journey feel festive and immersive. Whether you're with family, friends, or flying solo, the vibe is welcoming and upbeat. 🍽️ Now, about the food—while the buffet is generous and varied, featuring Thai and international dishes, I found the flavors a bit underwhelming. It’s not the highlight of the cruise, but the overall ambiance more than makes up for it.
Excellent cruise for the price. well organized and board promptly. We took 19:00pm 2 hour cruise for family of 4 (2 adults 2 children). Had a fantastic time, hit all the major iconic spots, great live music band. Food was fine for what it is. don’t expecta 5 star gourmet and you’ll enjoy it.
The river cruise was an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the music and entertainment were enjoyable. The views from the cruise were breathtaking, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing experience.
If you are up for experiencing cruise this is all nice and perfect but just don’t expect great food … it’s good for instagram photos tho. I booked and then chatted ttd for deck seats and its been confirmed but I think being inside is better because it’s breezy outside with smog. And when you go home your skin will be “lagkit”… the music and the songs they played was so outdated 😅 their punch is like Tang that’s in sachet… but the staffs are all nice people… most of all the views were incredible.
This was an amazing experience! The boat departs quite early at 7 AM, which was perfect since I was with my mom and three kids. I had emailed in advance to request assistance and an outdoor seating arrangement, and they successfully accommodated us with what was practically a front-row seat, right in front of the band. The lead singer, Julia, has incredible vocal talent, and she thoughtfully sang popular songs from various countries. The atmosphere was fantastic, and my mom was so happy that she even danced! My eldest daughter's birthday was in August, and she received a cute little cake and a birthday song celebration. The crew members were very helpful and proactively offered to take photos, so we tipped them generously. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere and want to see traditional Thai dances + a high-energy ladyboy show on a yacht, this is the perfect choice! The boat route also passes by major attractions, and the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) is truly beautiful at night. As for the food, I think it's about what you'd expect for this price range – not exactly gourmet, but it wasn't stale or anything. However, it was a great value for the price, just as I anticipated, so I still highly recommend it! I would definitely ride this boat again. Highly recommended!
The dinner cruise was a nice experience. We enjoyed the food, the entertainment and the view of the chaopraya river. The lights of Iconsiam, the Arum Temple etc was a sight to behold. We just noticed that there is no meat in the menu. Maybe this could be considered by the chef. 🙂👍
Because the Unicorn is a new event, there are fewer people on board. Register early to get a good seat. After signing up, I wrote to the registration team and told the registration team that I would arrange for the upper deck. I soon received a reply saying that it had been arranged. , the price is also cheaper than the Princess. I was really shocked when I saw the crowds queuing up to board the Princess at the pier. When the ship returned, there was singing and dancing music on the ship, and everyone got up and danced.
One week before departure, I was notified by email that I needed to cancel or upgrade to an Alangka Cruise. I chose the upgrade plan. The check-in process on the day was very smooth. The ship sailed shortly after boarding. The meals were not particularly amazing and the night view was beautiful.
Since it was an early morning flight, I booked a cruise that perfectly suited these conditions, including departure and arrival at Icon Siam, a night view of Wat Arun, dinner, and the last itinerary! I made a last-minute reservation the day before, and the outdoor seating on the second floor had a great atmosphere, and the free buffet with tom yum goong, mussels, shrimp, and French fries was good. They continued to perform live performances and the night view was very pretty. You can also take pictures of Wat Arun up close. It was a bit windy when I was speeding haha. It was the best experience of my trip to Bangkok. Definitely do the dinner cruise. I highly recommend it as the last evening on an early morning flight! I got a taxi right away♡
