Echigo Yuzawa Iwahara Ski Resort 1-day lift ticket, gear & wear rental (Niigata)

Super convenient location, very convenient for taking the Shinkansen in Tokyo, very high cost performance, the process of renting ski equipment is smooth, and the staff is very friendly. Iwahara Ski Resort is very large and suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers.

Honestly, it's super convenient. The rental shop is just a 2-3 minute walk from the ski resort, and the clothes are quite clean. The overall price is affordable and great value. It's simply fantastic!

We took Shinkansen to Echigo Yuzawa station. Then took the Iwappara shuttle bus from the east exit. You will pass by the rental shop Bear Sports just before the first shuttle bus stop. Alight at the first bus stop ( resort center 1). Then walk to the rental shop Bear Sports. Show your booking and the shop will get you everything u need, I.e. gear rental and full wear (jacket & pants). You may want to rent a safety helmet, ski goggles or even gloves there. After that walk to the resort center 1 (5-min walk from the rental shop Bear Sports because you will be wearing the ski boots by now. It’s much slower to walk in the ski boots ), exchange the entry ticket / lift pass for Iwappara, then u can take the ski lift up to the hill where u can start to ski. On your returning trip, take the free shuttle bus from resort center 2, drop at resort center 1 bus stop, walk to the rental shop Bear Sports to return the ski gear and wear. Then return to the bus stop to catch the next shuttle bus to Echigo Yuzawa station. Be sure to check out the schedule of the shuttle bus.

Definitely buy! Great value for money! Cheaper than buying directly from the Iwahara Ski Resort official website. Location: Process: 1. Take the Iwahara Ski Resort shuttle bus at "Hotel Green Plaza Naeba Joetsu Information Center" (you can Google the timetable) and get off at "Iwahara Ski Resort Resort Center 1." 2. Walk 2 minutes to the ski rental shop "Rental Ski Shop Bear" and show your proof to get your equipment. 3. Walk back to "Iwahara Ski Resort Resort Center 1" and show your proof to exchange for your day ski pass. Enjoy!

This is a reservation from within Japan. Bear Rental Shop and Iwappara Ski Resort were both excellent, but this app didn't seem to be very compatible with either the rental shop or the lift ticket counter. The confirmation email and the app voucher didn't have any of the corresponding reservation numbers listed, and the number I was told to enter when inquiring by name wasn't written anywhere, even after carefully looking through the reservation email. At the lift ticket counter, they said, "Klook always takes a very long time to look up," and I felt bad for making the people behind me wait. The ski resort and rental shop were great, so I hope the app can be better supported.
