Reviews
Mariko our guide was great. She speaks fluent English and was very knowledgeable about the hiroshima area. The tour consisted of walking to numerous sites which included the museum, the peace park grounds, the dome, and various points of interest along the way. In my case, we were touring with a small group, with just myself and another gentleman, which actually well for the format of the tour. Larger groups would be fine also, but probably 10 or so max would be ideal. Overall the tour was cool experience, the guide was great, and for a history buff like myself it was definitely worth the visit.
This was a great way to get to know Hiroshima. our guide Yasue was very knowledgeable and included some points not in the tour when we had some spare time. the first half at the Memorial Peace Park was interesting and solemn, then we had some fun at the ORIZURU tower at the observation deck and making paper cranes, before lunch nearby. it was a late lunch so make sure to have had a good breakfast!
A tour through the history and present of Hiroshima. A pleasant and informative walking tour. Our tour guide Key was very nice and really attentive. A nice insight into the past and present of Hiroshima. Of course the sunny weather and the nice group contributed to me enjoying the walking tour so much.
There were only 5 of us, 6 including our tour guide, which was a nice number. We’re glad we picked this tour to explore Hiroshima. We loved the facts and lunch with a view. We enjoyed making the origami cranes in the tower and then the maple leaf cake which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend! Our tour guide, Kanako, was great. thank you
Fantastic experience! Yuji, our guide, was so knowledgeable.m, friendly and spoke English very well. It was a small group of 7 people. My suggestion is to take snack with you, as lunch is not till the end of the tour, which was around 1:30/2pm. Our group were getting hungry, apart from that, well worth it!!
We had a great time during our very informative and eye opening tour around Hiroshima. Our guide, Yuji, was amazing! We learned so much about the bombings and the road to recovery. The whole experience was very touching and it really stayed with me. I hope people join this tour! Definitely worth it!
Highly recommended! Yuji was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We truly enjoyed visiting the selected sites and learned a lot. Lunch was also great!
I really wanted to not only learn about Hiroshima from text, but from a local who could also give the insights into the personal effects of such a dark period in history. Yuji was an absolutely wonderful guide and delivered everything we hoped for and more! The tour didn’t feel rushed but if you wanted to spend more time, tickets are valid for the rest of the day. we went on a very quiet day apparently and it was still busy, I imagine in a busy day it might be harder to get through the museum due to the crowds. Lunch is included and as well as getting to know Yuji he had some great local food spot recommendations. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a tour with a personal touch and small group.
Yuri was amazing and super friendly. Very knowledgeable. Very patient and gave us enough time to explore. Also provided some recommendations for dinner afterwards. The lunch included was great! Definitely recommend this tour.
Guide was friendly and fun - showed us a lot of places and we all had lunch together - a little pricy for a tour but no complaints
