Reviews
this was such an awesome experience, you get dressed up and a beautiful hair style then you go up stairs to the tea ceremony, everything is explained so clearly and in great detail, it was wonderful experience
Everything was so fun from start to finish. We were so overwhelmed with all the yukata/kimono options and the hairstylists were so fast and experienced they can deal with all hair types and the tea ceremony was phenomenal :) I totally recommend this experience for first commers to Japan.
excellent service, the ceremony and information provided during was outstanding. the kimonos was also excellent, the available ones all of them really pretty and with all the help to wear it properly.
Beautiful experience, very peaceful and informative. The photographer was amazing and the beautiful wise woman who performed the tea ceremony and helped me get dressed, was very kind and personable. It felt sacred and welcoming. I Highly recommend! experience:10 equipment:10 location:10 instructor:10
this experience met my expectations! the tea ceremony was so thought out and love the culture. the kimonos were stunning!!!
The tea ceremony was so calm and relaxing, and it was a joy getting to prepare a cup under the guidance of my tea master. The kimono was also high quality. I'd highly recommend this experience to anyone interested.
This was THE highlight of my and my sister’s Japan trip. Seriously, this was incredible. Being dressed in a traditional Kimono, having your hair done in a traditional Japanese style, and participating in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony was the coolest experience of my life. I am so so so grateful that we did this experience, it was absolutely incredible. Our teacher was an angel, she was so kind and patient and wonderful. Nothing will ever beat this experience, it was unreal. After the ceremony we were able to walk around Sensoji Temple wearing our Kimonos. It was incredible. You MUST do this if you are in Japan, seriously!!! It was absolutely incredible!!!
My girlfriend and I wear size L/XL in Germany and were a little unsure about the kimonos. But this was completely unfounded. We had a smaller, but still dreamlike, selection of patterns and colors. The hairdresser was also super talented and could conjure up something beautiful with each of our hair types. Despite being at the shrine in February with the kimono, it was surprisingly warm. In addition, we had booked the tea ceremony and learned how a traditional ceremony is held. We were also shown by the very nice mistress of ceremonies how to prepare and serve our own Matcha tea. This experience was definitely worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone!
such a great experience. The teacher was warm and welcoming. she gave an informative introduction to matcha and its history. we got there and added the kimono packaged. hong was lovely and made sure we looked great.
Amazing experience! definitely a must in Asakusa. Both ladies were so lovely. they explained everything really well! The Hair styles are great! the Tea ceremony was such a great experience! definitely recommend 🫶
