This was the first place I visited before going to Fort Santiago and the Casa Manila Museum. The voucher redemption process was quick and easy; just show the voucher to the staff near the ticket booth. Baluarte de San Diego is a historical site in Intramuros and one of the oldest stone forts in the Philippines, built in the late 16th century. It was originally a circular fortress called Fort Nuestra Señora de Guia. I was encouraged by the guard to continue than to back out because of the weather condition. I still made it happen even it is a bad weather condition. No worries. It made my day to visit this place but more appreciated if the weather is fine.

Amazing little garden located within the historic walls of Old Manila. Very quiet and nice if you need some time away from the all the people at the other sites in the old city.

After buying the ticket, the staff at the entrance informed me that it was for Fort Santiago, which is different from Santiago de los Caballeros. However, she still let me enter Fort Santiago, but entering the fortress required another ticket purchase. The price was the same, and they looked very similar, so I couldn't really tell the difference.
