What to expect
Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe is one of Switzerland's most iconic experiences, sitting at 3,454m above sea level in the heart of the Bernese Alps. From Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, or Interlaken, you'll travel by a combination of gondola and cogwheel railway through breathtaking alpine scenery. At the top, explore the Ice Palace, visit the Sphinx Observatory, and take in panoramic views over the Aletsch Glacier on a clear day. Choose from 4 routes based on your starting point, with your return time confirmed at booking.

Good to know
*** Holders of a Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Half Fare Card must present a valid pass upon request. Failure to do so may result in a surcharge, and refund requests will not be accepted.**
- What to wear? Dress in warm layers and bring closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen — UV exposure is intense at 3,454m, even on cloudy days.
- Boarding at Eiger Glacier (Eigergletscher): Transfer from the Eiger Express to the Jungfrau Railway at Eiger Glacier station (Eigergletscher). Follow the color-coded markings and pass through the turnstiles at least 10 minutes before your departure time.
- Planning your return: Keep an eye on the time, especially if you hike toward Mönchsjochhütte — the return to Jungfraujoch takes longer than expected.
- Returning via Eiger Express: If heading back to Grindelwald, change trains at Eiger Glacier station (Eigergletscher).
- Wheelchair accessibility: Please contact the Klook support team in advance of your visit to arrange the necessary accommodations.

Reviews summaryThe Jungfraujoch Top of Europe ticket was super easy to use – no need to print anything, just scan the QR code and you’re all set. Very convenient! I recommend starting early in the morning (around 7 AM) since the first cable car departs at 7:45, and it gives you more time to enjoy the experience without the bigger crowds. Jungfraujoch itself is absolutely amazing – the views are stunning and totally worth the trip. Just make sure to come dressed in your warmest and most comfortable clothes, because it does get really cold and windy up there. Highly recommended!
easy to redeem and use. also very clear instructions. going up jungfrau was a breeze and covered the major highlights. highly recommend!
Buying tickets through Klook offers great flexibility. You can even purchase tickets the day before if the weather looks good, and receive instant confirmation. The biggest advantage is the ability to book specific time slots, which is perfect for peak season visits. The scenery on the mountain is beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
I bought this after buying the Swiss Half-fare cards which saved me half the ticket price. Entry was very easy and smooth, just scan the QR code on the app. Very convenient for 1st timers. Many people said Top of Europe is overrated but I think it is still worth a visit if you have not been there before. Enjoyed sitting at its cafe after the walk. The hours given are more than enough to explore the whole place.
You must go even if its pricey. Why all the way to Swiss but not going here. The scenery is indeed awe aspiring. U will not regret it.
Purchasing Jungfraujoch tickets on Klook is very convenient and quick. You can board simply by scanning the QR code, and the scenery along the way is delightful, making it a wonderful experience.
The Eiger Express (cable car) to Eigergletscher offered spectacular views. We had the 20-person cabin almost entirely to ourselves. The Jungfrau Railway is mostly tunnels. Jungfraujoch, once you arrive, is amazing!
Getting the QR code is very convenient; there's no need to exchange tickets. You can just scan it and board. First, take the cable car, then transfer to the train, and you'll easily reach Jungfraujoch.
Purchasing tickets in advance will ensure a smoother experience. We booked the earliest time slot, and by late morning, the ticket booths were incredibly crowded, so if you can wake up early, we recommend going early! If you're staying for several days, we highly recommend purchasing a Swiss Travel Pass!
The journey to the top is amazing. The ice palace is incredible. It's just unfortunate that the outdoor attractions were closed due to severe weather conditions. The overall experience was unforgettable.
