The experience was good. We were just a group of three people so it felt like a private activity. I liked that the area is good enough for them to roam around. They have four elephants in total, all female in different ages. Sonny was accommodating to us and gave a good explanation of the elephants’ behavior and background. He and the other handler were also kind enough to take photos and videos while we enjoy the moments with the gentle giants. It was nice to play and learn a lot about them.
It was my first time getting so close to and interacting with elephants, so it was a wonderful experience. They seemed to really enjoy it when we hugged them and scrubbed them with brushes, which was a lot of fun.
it was a wonderful experience the elephants were amazing creatures and getting to swim with them was an unforgettable experience, they are raised in captivity it is not a rescue centre just so you are aware of what you’re going into
Such a lovely experience. We enjoyed our excursion to the elephant care house so much. Touching and feeding the animals was amazing. The. are like family members to the locals.
Cookie Guide is really the best! She kept taking pictures and videos, and she speaks really, really good English and a little Korean! I think it was more fun because the guide was so lovely. And the elephants were so big that I was surprised at first, but the more I looked at them, their eyes were so pretty and gentle,, and I quickly became attached to them. Everyone went in the morning, so there were no people in the afternoon. I went on an unintentional private tour with a friend. It was really nice because it was a tour where you could take care of the elephants without riding them! The elephants were wonderful and get 5 stars. Information about them from the humans, however, was scarce. Where did they come from, how old are they, what are their names, how are they cared for? None of this was covered, maybe as the guide did not speak much English. Made us worry a little for their welfare. This was contradictory to what was written in other reviews, which said they had been given lots of info. Maybe we were just unlucky!
The experience seemed to focus solely on taking pictures, and it was uncomfortable to see the elephants being forced to do things they didn't want to do.
The overall itinerary is about three hours. You can give the elephants a mud spa, make food, take a bath with the elephants and help them wash their bodies. The first few links were a little rushed, but it was still fun. Not bad, recommended.
it was awesome. Elephants seemed happy there and just living their life. It was nice to feed them and it was fun.
