I tried Kaiseki cuisine. The restaurant is in Toyonaka. It is very convenient to transfer from the subway to the bus. I made an appointment at the last minute and it was no problem to go back to the city. I entered a small private room. The cost of drinks was transparent and the service attitude was very friendly. Even though our Japanese was not very good, the waiter was very patient to use the translation software to introduce the composition of the dishes to us. The dishes were also very delicate, and some of them tasted more novel. This set meal was mainly poultry, but also seafood. It was very delicious and I was very full in the end! Thanks to all the waiters and chefs, it was a wonderful experience!
We celebrated my daughter's graduation here, though the restaurant did not know because they did not ask 😬 It seemed like we were the only ones in the restaurant, though the servers were all nice and courteous, and introduced the food and how to eat them. Food presentation was very well done.
Choosing this Kaiseki restaurant this time was a real pleasant surprise! The ingredients were fresh, selected considering the season, and you could taste the chef's effort in every dish. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff were friendly and polite. They carefully explained the ingredients and preparation method with each dish, and it happened to be New Year's Eve, so the tableware used was unique and creative. The environment was tranquil and comfortable, I'll definitely come back again!
We booked Chef Special meal, it was 10 courses specially well decorated each dish. Each dish come with a reasonable of food, we were so full when we reached the 7th dish. The Chef is so skillful when mixing the ingredients as well as combining the food. I have never seen any restaurant use wasabi oil and foam soy to eat with sushi. The food quality and service are excellent, highly recommend! They are so nice and patient, they use iPad and translate apps to communicate and do presentation each dish, making sure you understand what you eat. All employees including the Chef came out to say goodbye after we’re done, the Chef even went down to the basement waiting for the taxi with us. Big thank! Because we have no idea we need to take a taxi from the basement. The only downside here is it’s hard to find the restaurant specifically for non-Japanese speaking like us, we went couple stores to ask the directions. The restaurant is on the second floor of a small building.
Bravo. Basically every dish gave us surprises in terms of taste, presentation and choice of ingredients. Despite the location, I will give my full recommendation to anyone who wants a keisen experience in entry-level price (since it was a set menu)
one of the best experience while having lunch at this place. must visit while in Japan.
The lunch was exquisite. The chef introduced the dishes and explained how to best enjoy them, showcasing a true passion for food that made the experience delightful.
The food quality and service are good! We drove ourselves, and we still felt the location wasn't very convenient. The restaurant environment is average; when we first arrived, we even thought it was closed! The dining time is about two hours, so if you're in a hurry, we don't recommend going.
Great food, great selection of Japanese sake and good service
