Great adventure we had and amazing nature, Zipline it was short but okay, rafting is super and the best, elephant ridding is spectacular, ATV good but not that much fun, food was below average but it was not the main thing. overall it’s a recommended experience.
To be honest I have booked this tour only because of elephant trekking. My 6-year old son dreamed about elephant trekking. So I went on klook and saw several options available. So to cover all fun activites I have chosen zipline, rafting, ATV, waterfall and elefant trekking. We were collected from the hotel timely (I have asked about exact time from customer support, so not to wait from 6 till 9 at hotel lobby). It took two or so hours to reach a Songpreak rafting camp in the PhangNga. We were given a locker to keep our belongings. We did zipline first. It is not real extreme at all, but ok for kids. Then we were given helmets and life jackets and taken to the river bank. We had to wait there for about 30-40 min. Another guide did a safety training, offered extra 2 km of rafting for those who wants more adrenalin. Then we were distributed to boats and went to the river. There were lots of boats coming from upper side of the river (approx 20-25 in total). All boats ruled by local guys who splashed water to everyone around to make fun. So the river rafting experience was nice. We really enjoyed it. All of us were wet from head to toes. There were several ladies who took us on ipads and we bought this video and photos for 800 baht. They send us them by whatsapp (air drop is also possible). The quality of photo is so so,but video is ok. Then we were taken back to the camp and walked to waterfall. Waterfall is tiny but nice for instagram picture. We had lunch there at camp. It is not luxury restaurant, but nice and simple local food (plain rice, omlette, cabbage in sauce, chicken, watermelon, simple soup). After lunch we have been instructed how to drive ATV. All machines were dirty because a group before us just came from driving. So we drived about 30 mins. For me who first sat on ATV it was a bit scary and difficult, but I managed finally. ATVs are old, noisy and makes dirty fumes which you swallow when following after them. After ATV driving we went to Elephant trekking. Two people per elephant. It is a very gentle jungle walk. The guy who ride an elephant helped to take photos and video of ourselves. After trekking we bought a small basket of bananas for 100 baht and gave to elephants. On the way back we pop in to Monkey cave and fed monkeys. They prefer corns to bananas. The older male ones bullied younger monkeys and took their food. They also attempted to take our bag with corns and bananas. The bag with bananas and corn are sold there for 100 baht. The cave is huge and worse seeing it. Entrance fee 20 baht. There is small cave with bats on the right side if want to see bats. But it was dark and scary. We were given 20 min to see the cave and feed monkeys, I felt this was not enough time, but it was ok. After all these mentioned above activities we went back to Phuket and were delivered to our hotels. Nice tour if you are average person (not extreme lover) or if you have kids 5+. Thanks to klook for discounts.
Monkey cave now required 20baht for entrance fee. All the activities were pretty much at the same place (zipline, rafting, ATV and lunch). Zipline was a let down as it was very short (like 10seconds?) and not too high. The highlight for this trip was the white water rafting. There would be two captains / guides on board who did the paddling so we just held on tight as we go down the river. We did pay extra 500 baht per person for additional 2km ride which was fun. There were also people taking photos & 1 small video clip which can be airdrop to your phone for 800 baht. ATV course was great. Fume was terrible but expected. Toilets (with one common toilet paper rolls) available. There’s also a simple open area for changing or quick rinse of water with water hose available. We particularly enjoyed the lunch as well. Better than expected and we could dine just the two of us (or according to your group size). No sharing with strangers.
We had a great day. ATV company was very restricticted in riding technique. No swerving or sliding of bike etc. I managed to get told off many times. So great for novice but slow and boring for experienced riders. Elephant bathing was fantastic. Dont ride the elephant. Bath them in the river instead. Whitewater rafting was fun. Lunch was nice. Bus ride abit long but comfy and its far away so take water and snacks. I would recommend for a nice day out.
The overall experience is great! The highlight for me is the ATV ride followed by the zipline and then the water rafting. However, be prepared to wait as the transport is shared. First, the water rafting was rather chaotic as there were a lot of different tours going into the river at the same time. For me, the highlight was after 5km where the current gets really crazy - but it was great because there's lesser people around and we get to experience the wild ride. For 7km and 10km, it's not on klook but the tour will inform us for add-on beforehand. The zipline was short but I loved it! Fast and quick over the stream. Alin, our ATV guide, was also super friendly. The different stations were great. The only downside is the waiting time, honestly, because we didn't have to chance to properly explore the monkey cave as we spent too much time waiting for others. Overall, still recommended to participate in this. Thank you.
We departed from Khao Lak and paid an additional 2,200 baht, but we were able to enjoy the ATV, zipline, and monkey temple together. They also made sure to pick us up and drop us off safely. We had fun even though we only did the basic rafting. + We paid 20 baht per person for the monkey temple entrance fee and 20 baht for a shawl for women. The zipline was very, very short, which was a shame.
Everything is well arranged! From pick up to the end of the trip. And so glad that we topped up the additional 2km on site for the white water rafting. Thumbs up for the activities in this package but do note that the travelling time will be around 2hrs to the activities place.
amazing experience. worth of money. i can advice to eceryone who want cheaper tour
The itinerary was Wat Suwanakha, ATV, elephant ride, waterfall, zip line, lunch, and rafting. The schedule proceeded on time. Rafting was the most fun. The zip line was full of handmade feeling and thrilling in a way. The shower was broken and there was no water. There was no hook to hang a bag in the shower room, so I gave up on changing clothes. The shower room was dim with no electricity, so it was hard if you are not used to the environment.
everything together, good for people wanting to try different things! recommend to extend rafting to 7km. zipline is short, if you want zipline the most it's not suitable. mainly rafting and try out ATV. ATV route is not so exciting for non- first time driver, but can still have fun.
