Exploring Kanchanaburi Private Customize Multi Day Tour

Because I want to stay in Kanchanaburi for one night, I booked a two-day charter this time. The charter company will contact me via email three days before departure to communicate the departure time and itinerary. The safari park is farther away and requires an additional fee. The driver was very kind and used simple English and Google Translate to communicate with each other. It takes about 2.5-3 hours from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. On the way, I told the driver that we needed a toilet, so he stopped at a gas station to let us go to the toilet. He also asked us on the way to the hotel in the evening. Do you want to go to a convenience store to buy something first? It is a long drive from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi and various scenic spots, and the driver still drove smoothly and safely. After arriving at the scenic spot, the driver has no obligation to serve as a tour guide, but he will also tell us what we can see and help us take photos. For example, when we were at the Bridge on the River Kwai, he told us what time the train would pass by and let us go again. Wait a little longer to see the train. Overall, this charter service allowed us to spend a good two days and one night in Kanchanaburi.

There are 2 chartered car services on the platform. I chose this one because it is relatively flat, but it turns out that there is a surcharge for going to the Death Railway, plus the airport surcharge. In fact, the price is similar to the other one. area, but I didn't know that the original Death Railway was in the surcharge area). Anyway, the service is satisfactory, the driver is punctual and polite, can communicate in simple English, and tries his best to introduce the scenery along the way. It takes about 3 hours from the airport to Kanchanaburi, with a stop at a gas station in the middle. We often changed the itinerary, and the driver was very cooperative and took the initiative to take pictures for us. The internet celebrity cafe I wanted to go to didn’t open, the driver immediately asked a local friend to introduce us to a similar one, praise. We were late for dinner, and the driver didn't care too much about the email confirmation. The itinerary will be replied on the same day, and the driver's information will be emailed the day before the itinerary.

The driver, Mr. Suk Sanguan, was punctual, polite, attentive and flexible towards impromptu changes we made to the itinerary along the way. He would advise if the suggestions were doable. We were aware of the surcharges to go to certain areas that were further from the town center, but were still appreciative to the tour company for informing us of the extra/double surcharges we might incur and offering us alternatives instead. The vehicle was new, spacious and comfortable for 3 of us. Driver was always careful in his driving, so it was a smooth and relaxing ride on both days. Would definitely recommend this to those who prefer customizing their itinerary and having a proper and comfortable transport between Bangkok and Kanchanaburi for 2 days or more.

The driver was very punctual and nice. But it would be nice if he could suggest me to change into slippers when entering the national park.

Departure at about 8 am, the driver arrived half an hour earlier, with a very friendly attitude. We spent too long in the ancient city of Jasmine and missed the Death Railway train. The driver still ran the original itinerary. In the end, it was overtime for 1 hour plus 300 baht. Kanchanaburi is a very difficult journey, but fortunately the car is very Comfortable, overall it is still worth recommending.

Driver was on time however due to tight timeline he drove really fast causing it to be quite a bumpy ride. The van needs maintenance as we could barely feel the aircon at the center seat. The driver ignored us when we told him its warm. :(
