The aquarium inside has a rich variety of marine life, including jellyfish, sea otters, seals, and even animal shows. It is worth considering for your itinerary when visiting Ikebukuro.

Simply show the QR code at the aquarium entrance for admission; no separate ticket exchange is needed, which is very convenient. After entering the aquarium, there are both outdoor and indoor areas, both of which are very interesting. The indoor area has benches in front of many fish tanks, allowing you to rest while watching the fish. The observation deck is accessed via the direct elevator from the basement level (B1). Upon reaching the 60th floor, show the QR code after exiting the elevator to pass through the gates. The night view on-site is stunning, with plenty of seating areas to sit and enjoy the night view, a café for a quick break, and several Instagram-worthy photo spots. Everything was fantastic, except that the B1 elevator was a bit difficult to find.

It's suitable for preschoolers to visit, and the 60th-floor observatory is right next door, so you can stop by there too. If you want to venture a bit further from the city center, you can go to Seibu Dome.

There wasn't much to see at the aquarium, and the flying penguin exhibit was a bit small. Since I went on a weekend, it was very crowded, and the experience wasn't great. It would probably be better on a weekday when there are fewer people.
