Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon tour from Athens

This Cape Sounion tour is a must-do when visiting Athens! The coastal drive is breathtaking (thanks to driver Panos), and the Temple of Poseidon at sunset is pure magic. Our guide, Maria, was phenomenal. She was friendly, enthusiastic, highly organized, and an amazing storyteller who brought the myths and history to life. She made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the beach & views without feeling rushed. It was a flawless tour, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

The sunset tour is a must! The view was simply breathtaking. Our guide was also lovely (Kathlene or Kathrene, not sure about the spelling). There were stops along the way too, like a quick pic of Lake Vuoliagmeni, and a 1hr visit for a swim at Paradise Beach. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend the Cape Sounion & Temple of Poseidon Tour! It was one of the highlights of my trip to Athens. Our tour guide was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and attentive, making sure everyone was well looked after throughout the journey. We learned so much while also having plenty of time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The beach stop was a wonderful addition. We loved relaxing with the refreshing sea breeze and the crystal-clear water. It was the perfect break before heading to Cape Sounion. The Temple of Poseidon is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. Watching the sun slowly disappear over the Aegean Sea with the ancient temple in the foreground was an unforgettable experience. The views were spectacular, and the atmosphere was magical. We had an amazing time from start to finish and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!

The Cape Sounion trip was a great experience! Everything was well organized, from the booking process to the transportation. The tour was enjoyable, and the views along the way were beautiful. The trip was relaxing and worth the time. Overall, I had a really good experience and would definitely recommend this tour.

Overall a relaxing and enjoyable trip! Shuttle pickup near our hotel made it super convenient. We had time to stroll along the beach for about an hour, then headed to the cape to see the temple and a beautiful sunset. A smooth and easy-going experience.

This is a half-day tour that starts at 4 PM and lasts about 6 hours. The tour uses a shared minibus with around 13 people. We stopped at scenic spots along the way to take photos. There was about 1.5 hours of free time at a beach resort-like area near the Temple of Poseidon, which was enjoyable! The entrance fee for the Temple of Poseidon (€20) is separate, but the tour was very satisfying overall.

Very convenient tour! They pick you up and drop you off directly at your hotel, which makes the whole experience easy and stress-free. The Temple of Poseidon and the views at Cape Sounion were beautiful and definitely worth the trip. Just be aware that the €20 entrance fee is not included in the tour price and needs to be paid separately.

This is a must-see in Greece; the beautiful scenery will create a lasting memory. Our tour guide, Stefani, made the tour so enjoyable with her endearing nature and great sense of humor.

It's a pretty short tour. Our guide was informative and helpful. She gave us a list of good restaurants in Athens to visit. There's nothing much to see at Lake Vouliagmeni, just a short stop to take some photos. The Temple of Poseidon was not a huge place and the ticket was kinda expensive, but I guess the beautiful photos were still worth it. I really enjoyed sitting down to watch the sunset. So beautiful and peaceful. There were plenty of people, though probably nowhere as crowded as it would be in summer, but there were still many good spots to sit and enjoy the sunset. Too bad the placed closed before the sun fully disappeared from the horizon.
