Reviews summaryThe trip was very smooth and we really liked our guide Tom. he was very nice and accommodating and can speak 3 languages (chinese, english, japanese). the lunch spot he recommended to us in lake Toya was absolutely delicious as well! Enjoyed the trip overall but I do wish we had more time at each spot. though i understand there is limited time overall.
The tour was very punctual and followed the schedule perfectly. Our guide was lovely and very helpful, assisting with photos and providing excellent tourist information. The itinerary might have been a bit packed, which meant we had less time at each stop. We used a large, comfortable bus with overhead storage, and the roadside views were beautiful.
My family and I really enjoyed Oscar's tour! He was very insightful about a variety of all things Japan. He made sure that everything was smooth and engaging. He was so engaging, in fact, that even when he was speaking in a language I could not speak, I was listening. The tour itself was very captivating. My family and I loved the smooth travel and the views. The scheduling was also just right for each attraction. Overall, we would rate the tour a perfect 10/10! (The bear farm was our favorite!)
he was very friendly and helpful through the whole tour. Had a pleasant experience. Even though his first language isn’t English, he did make it seem very understandable by how enthusiasm and determined he was. he also showed us a lot of recommendations aswell which was very nice.
Thank you to our guide, Risa (or perhaps Lisa?) from Qingdao, for leading us. The whole trip was very smooth, also thanks to the punctuality of the group members and the driver's snow driving skills. This Sapporo trip was a wish come true for me. I've wanted to come for ten years, but various reasons meant I didn't have the chance until I was in my 40s. When planning the itinerary, places like Lake Toya and the Ice Waterfall Festival were really hard to reach without driving. Luckily there's Klook. I used Klook in Okinawa before to get to many places, and it didn't disappoint this time either. Although I was the only Hong Kong man in the whole group, the overall experience was excellent. Thank you to everyone for making my trip so fulfilling.
Our Noboribetsu and Lake Toya winter tour was absolutely worth it! We covered so many iconic spots in one day, and every stop felt like a different winter fairytale experience. The only downside is its a fast paced tour. Seeing Lake Toya surrounded by snow was peaceful and magical. We explored Toyako Onsen and admired the impressive Showa Shinzan, rising dramatically from the white landscape. Walking around Noboribetsu Hell Valley was surreal, with steam rising from the snowy ground. We ended the day at the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival, where the illuminated ice sculptures created a magical winter wonderland. So many iconic spots in one day — volcanoes, lakes, snow scenery, and glowing ice lights. 100% worth it if you’re visiting Hokkaido in winter!
With the gorgerous Oscar again, he really knows the history of the places to visit in Hokkaido. The bus is very clean. The Shikotsu Lake Festival is very beautiful. However, the schedule is very tight, but everything went on time. Very recommended
We would definitely recommend the tour. The spots were well chosen and not too much. Why we would recommend the tour: Firstly, because you have safe, comfortable, and clean transportation to the respective locations, and secondly, because despite the "tour character" you could freely explore the spots. Our tour guide Oska really loosened up the tour with his personality, and it felt more like being out with a good friend who shows you the best places and explains more information about Japan, its culture, the spots, and other general topics. Thank you for the wonderful tour :)
10/10 tour experience with Oscar the guide! This was one of the highlights of my Hokkaido trip and I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the spots on the itinerary. The guide, Oscar, was incredible and really passionate about sharing animal facts, the history of the spots, etc., recommended food and even skin products! He was very funny and my group and I had a very enjoyable experience. Oscar was very cognizant about time which was greatly appreciated. He even had pictures of your spots and food recommendations. The bus itself was spacious and clean as well and a very smooth ride despite the snow. The spots on the tour were fun and we were able to see so many spots in a single day. This is a very reasonable price as well and you get a lot out of it if you are tight on time. Thank you again for a great trip!
It was a wonderful tour experience. The snowfall made it even more special for someone from a tropical country. We had a great time with our tour guide, Andy, who helped us navigate every stop and assisted us in buying the best items.
