The dolphin show alone is incredibly enjoyable! Even 30 minutes before the show, the back rows were full, so we paid 200 yen for ponchos and sat in the front row, which turned out to be the best decision. The dolphins' splashing ability (and it truly is an ability!) is no joke. They are smart, cute, and beautiful—they have it all! We watched it twice, including the evening show, and it was well worth it. Oh, and even with a raincoat, you'll still get completely soaked! Haha.
The aquarium was incredible! The emailed ticket worked immediately for access. When you arrive, you can take a free souvenir photo. Our favorite part without a doubt was the tunnel where there were sharks and manta rays, along with the dolphin show!
Great experience. If you want to take many pictures, I suggest to go early like in opening of the park because its not yet crowded. You can take many pictures without so many people on the background. We like the dolphin show so much... It got crowded when the show ended. :)
Such a fantastic little aquarium! The dolphin show will not disappoint. Family friendly environment. Recommend visiting during the weekdays as the weekend tend to be very busy with people off of work.
Although the facilities are a bit old, the dolphin show was truly amazing. The penguin area and tunnel area allow you to see various marine animals up close, which is very exciting. Highly recommended! I suggest staying for at least 3-4 hours.
Facility: The location is good, about a 2-minute walk from the station. While there isn't a food court inside the aquarium (light snacks like popcorn, nuggets, and drinks are available), there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you won't have trouble finding food. Re-entry is also possible. The exhibit was a collaboration with flowers, but with so many people trying to see the small tanks, it felt like I was there to see people, not fish. I couldn't see the fish at all. I wanted to take my time, but people wouldn't move from in front of the tanks, so I gave up and left after about 5 minutes. It would be great if staff could manage the viewing areas with a rotation system. Waiting Time: I arrived around lunchtime on a weekend/holiday. The ticket counter wasn't crowded, and I think even those buying same-day tickets could get in smoothly. Show: The dolphin show is very captivating! Before the show, the dolphins were swimming gracefully, and the children watched with great interest. However, it's a popular show, and most of the back seats were already taken about 30 minutes beforehand. Price: It's a bit pricey for its size. I consider the cost to be for the dolphin show. Ease of Booking with Klook: I was able to book smoothly without any issues.
As one of the largest aquariums in Tokyo, the Shinagawa Aquarium brings together marine life from all over the world. With its massive observation tunnel, dreamy jellyfish exhibit, and exciting dolphin show, every corner is filled with surprise and romance, making visitors feel as though they have stepped into a blue dream.
This was definitely a highlight. Was able to buy a poncho for ¥200 so we could get splashed by siting up front. Great show. Amazing dolphins. 👏 🤩 Would come here again and watch the sea life 100%
it was so fun! the aquarium is not so big but offers a lot of stuff, and the dolphin show was so amzing and worth it!
Aquariums are a must-visit attraction when traveling with children! We chose to go on a weekday, but there were still many people. The dolphin show amazed the kids, and we also watched the penguin show. Afterward, we explored the creatures in various themed exhibits. It's definitely a place worth experiencing.
