You’ll get the ticket and audio guide at the ticket counter by showing QR code on the application. It easy and trustworthy. The audio guide make it more interesting and fun at museum.
Tickets and tablets need to be obtained from the information table in the ticket office, and ID is required. The tour guide is in Chinese, which is pretty good.
If you don't know the history of the Old Palace, I recommend you take this tour. The audio guide will at least give you a better understanding of what you see.
I can't find where to redeem my ticket anywhere, this is terrible.
