Terms and condition

Contingency measures for COVID-19

• According to the situation of the new COVID-19, if the epidemic remains within the controllable range within one week (according to the press release of the Hong Kong SAR Government), the event will be held as scheduled.
• If the situation is still severe before the event, the event will be postponed. The organizer will notify each contestant about the changes via Facebook website and email within one week before the event.
• Contingency measures will be adjusted according to different circumstances, details to be announced.
• Depending on the situation of the COVID-19, if it is still not under control one month before the event, in order to ensure the safety of all participants, the organizer will adopt a back-up plan and change the way of the event to a virtual run. The organizer will arrange a comprehensive plan on it.

Registration

• After completing the registration process, the ticketing agency will send a confirmation email to each runner. For “Friends Group”, the confirmation email will send to the main applicant only. The email will list the participant's information and the group of participants.
• Please check the information carefully. If you find any errors in the information, please immediately send an email to info@knighthoodevent.com, and attach its confirmation email for the conference to check the information.
• If you have not received the confirmation email within 7 days after registration, please check online at the ticketing agency's online platform, or go to the conference's Facebook Page for private inquiry.
• Participants must read the application terms, rules and arrangements carefully. After submitting the application, it means that the runners are abide by and accept all the application terms, rules and arrangements that introduced by organizers.
• Participants must ensure that the information recorded in the registration form is correct.
• The event is voluntary. Participants are willing to bear all risks and responsibilities, and have no right to recover from the organizer, including the conference, sponsors and related support institutions, caused by travel to the event venue, during the event or other reasons Claim or be held liable for your own injury, accident, death or any form of loss.
• Participants who under the age of 18 must obtain the consent of their parent or guardian if they are going to join the event individually.
• For safety reasons, people under the age of 12 cannot participate in pet races and 4km events. If a person under the age of 12 is found to register, the conference has the right to cancel the contestant's eligibility and no refund will be made.

Runs

• Participants are required to present identification documents (such as Hong Kong identity cards, passports, etc.) to the conference to verify their identity before winning the prize
• All awards and rankings are based on the time of the conference and there is no appeal.
• Participants must ensure that their physical fitness is suitable for participating in this competition/activity. The organizer has the right to request the contestants to withdraw from the contest/event and reasonably disqualify the contestants who are not suitable for the contest under reasonable suspicion.
• If the contestant deliberately destroys the surrounding scenery during the competition/event, the organizer must perform repairs. The contestant must make all compensations and losses to the organizer, and the organizer reserves the right to pursue all responsibility.
• If the contestant violates, violates or does not comply with any rules of the conference, the organizer has the right to cancel the contestants' results.
• The organizer has the right to change the terms and conditions of the conference. In case of any disputes, the organizer reserves the right of final decision.
• There is a free luggage storage service on the day of the competition. Participants are advised to avoid carrying valuables. If there is any loss, the organizer will not be held responsible.

Amendment for registration information

• All applicants will not be refunded after the successful application and registration. Repeat applicants will not be refunded the fee for their repeated registration. If the applicants allow others to use their bib / event quota, organizer has the right to cancel the participation qualifications of this applicants and his/her substitute runner
• If applicants need to change any registration information, please notify the organizer by email. Organizer has the right to charge an administrative fee of HK $ 50 (each time).
• There is no replacement for T-shirt size, please refer to the size chart and choose carefully.

Runs

Usage of personal information

• The organizer have the right to use any photos, videos and event records of the event for any legal purpose, including event promotion.
• The organizer, and its entrusted service provider (eg: event timing cooperate), will use the information provided by the contestants for the following purposes:
• a. the results of the conference announcement
• b. administrative tasks such as confirmation, receipt, receipt Notifications, donation records and related event communications, etc.
• c. prevent and detect frauds or abuses using this website, and allow third parties to provide technical assistance and logistics in the name of this website Work
• To perform the above-mentioned purposes, the personal data provided by the contestants on the registration website may be transferred to other institutions.
• The event organizer will not rent, exchange or sell the personally identifiable personal data you voluntarily provide on this website, including email addresses and contact numbers.

Postpone and modification of the event

• The organizer reserves the right to cancel or shorten the event for the following reasons:
• a. Severe weather (typhoon signal No. 3 or higher, typhoon warning signal or higher, red / black rainstorm warning signal)
• b. landslides, mudslides, Mountain fire.
• c. Protest demonstrations or event routes are blocked
• d. Force majeure, that is, events that are beyond the control of the organizer and make it impossible, unsafe or impractical to hold a competition. (Force majeure events include but are not limited to natural disasters, wars, hostilities, aggression, rebellions, revolutions, uprisings, riots, riots, strikes, layoffs, forbidden or unrest, outbreaks of disease, and terrorist acts and threats).
• The organizer can choose to postpone the event if such a situation occurs. Only the date of the event depends on the venue supply and the intention of the partners, and will be announced separately.
• The organizer has the right to modify and interpret the above terms. Any temporary changes or adjustment related to the competition / event will be subject to the event website announcement.
