From Seoul: Hwadam Forest, Suwon Hwaseong & Jebudo Cable Car Tour

Had such a lovely experience at Hwadamsup 🌸 and Strawberry Picking 🍓 ✨ It was a bit tiring walking up the hill at Hwadamsup, but the beautiful flowers and peaceful surroundings made it all worth it — truly the highlight of the trip. We walked up to enjoy the stunning views, then took the cable car back down just for the experience 🚡 My son was so happy picking strawberries too 🍓🥰 A big thank you to our tour guide Alvin — he’s bilingual and speaks Chinese, English, and Korean so well! He was very informative and made the whole tour even more enjoyable. Also, a shoutout to our friendly driver, thank you for your warmth and making my son smile with a sweet little gift 🫰 Highly recommend this trip to anyone planning to visit Seoul 🇰🇷💖

Our tour to the Korean Folk Village, Hwaseong Fortress, and the Jebudo Cable Car was a truly memorable experience. The highlight of the trip was the Korean Folk Village, where we were immersed in traditional Korean culture through its well-presed houses, lively performances, and authentic atmosphere. It felt like stepping back in time and was both educational and enjoyable. Walking along Hwaseong Fortress was also a great experience, offering scenic views and a deeper appreciation of Korea’s rich history. The Jebudo Cable Car added a relaxing and picturesque touch to the tour, with beautiful coastal views. Overall, the tour was well-organized, enjoyable, and highly recommended for those wanting a meaningful cultural experience.

The 단풍 view is amazing! We visit on Nov 5th 2025. Based on our tour guide, Rose, today is pretty crowded, a lot of Koreans also visit Hwadamsup today. But in my opinion still bearable. We still able to take a lot of pictures. Rose was amazing, very cheerful and make us laugh a lot. She also gave us kim (roasted seaweed) to try on the way. It was delicious.

First of all, Nana is really a happy guide. She is energetic and gave a lot of good insights of Hwadam Botanical Garden. The meeting point is near my home so it is really easy for me to get to it. And there is also a toilet before getting on the bus. Not too far feom Seoul and while my family is busy I get to do tours to see the beautiful Hwadam garden. I would say even when you dont have ticket for the tram, enjoy the walk. Dont rush it. I got the Hwadam only tour so I had a great walk, coffee sitting next to the small lake or pond watching nature in gold and people passing by. I would not want to soend my day any other way. The bus picked up and arrived on time. The trip to the Garden was smooth, thanks to the driver. The guide, Rose, was very fluent in English and has good energy that keeps people listening to her. She shares extra information about Korea and places we passes by, a plus point to understand Korea's culture and history. The place itself, was a hike, so prepare yourselves for that, wear comfortable clothes and energy to finish the course. Monorails are subject to availability, It is a first come first serve. Monorail 1 to 2 was already sold out when we arrived at 11 am, but monorail 2 to 3 was still available hence we were able to experience it. We saw cherry blossoms during our visit, but it was not the full bloom yet.

It was a great experience. Our tour guide David is very fluent in english and friendly. He is very energytic to and from the location and gave as clear instruction a day before the tour. Highly recommended to get this tour since the Hwadam Botanical Garden is almost 2 hours from Seoul and suggest to get it or visit fall mid November to see foliage.

The tour was very convenient and full marks, and it happened to coincide with the maple leaf time. The entire park is filled with super beautiful maple leaves, and the trails are also designed to be very friendly and suitable for a family trip! Before starting this tour, we will gather a group and explain the itinerary carefully. The tour bus is very comfortable and clean, and especially our team tour guide, the handsome and young K Oppa, is really great. He is very enthusiastic in introducing and very attentive and heart-warming. The service is 100% considerate, and I am very happy to give him the leadership this time! Next time I want to join a K-Oppa group! praise

I'm so happy that never expected they do so famously forest with full of beautiful nature like autumn leafs in many different colour.To my ecpection what I get so happy to this trip. And you are a friendly and helpful guide. Thank you very much hope in future we met again.

The tour was very nice and our guide Jesse was very helpful. The forest itself is bery beautiful especially in Autumn and I had a lovely time exploring and admiring the wonderful sceneries. Definitely book this trip when the trees are colorful!

The forest is amazing and the guide David is really nice and professional. though I would recommend to visit in the middle of November to see the falliage; yesterday there was barely any red or yellow trees. It was still very healing ☺️
