Chimelong Penguin Hotel Zhuhai

Our trip to Zhuhai Chimelong with the kids was absolutely wonderful! The room had cute penguin designs that the children adored. Guests also get unlimited access to Ocean Kingdom and Chimelong Spaceship Park, so a 3-day, 2-night stay is definitely needed to experience everything. I highly recommend Spaceship Park because it's entirely indoors and air-conditioned, which is a lifesaver on hot or rainy days. Besides the rides and various animal exhibits, the orca show is incredibly spectacular and a must-see! Ocean Kingdom is large, but visiting in the summer can be tough due to intense sun exposure and frequent heavy rain. Plus, none of the theaters, except for the beluga whale theater, have air conditioning. For the popular beluga whale show, you absolutely need to queue up 45 minutes early, otherwise, it will be full, and you won't get in. Additionally, the buffet at Penguin Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. While there aren't lobsters or king crabs, being able to watch penguins through a large glass window while you eat made the kids incredibly happy. Overall, the experience is highly recommended!

We highly recommend a three-day, two-night stay to fully enjoy everything. Remember to bring pain relief patches, as you'll easily walk nearly 20,000 steps daily, no joke! If you have children, avoid renting a stroller at the hotel; it's super expensive, with a 1000 deposit and 90/day rental fee. On our first day, without a stroller, carrying our child after the Chimelong Show was exhausting and led to a meltdown. The next day, we used WeChat Pay & Services > Meituan to search for "Chimelong Paradise baby stroller," and found one for only 20 a day with no deposit (you just have to pick it up outside the hotel, which isn't far). Bring plenty of Taiwanese snacks and instant noodles for quick, easy meals when the kids get hungry, then have a proper dinner later, as food inside the park is quite pricey. We highly recommend the delicious skewers sold at a stall downstairs at the Penguin Hotel. Transportation: It's very convenient to fly from Taichung to Macau and then transfer to Hengqin. Breakfast: On our last day, we booked the Penguin Hotel buffet, which offered a wide variety of food. Service: All staff members in the park truly prioritize family-friendly service. Cleanliness: It's also very clean. Don't miss the Chimelong Show, the Whale Shark performance, and the evening fireworks!

Chimelong Zhuhai is a great place for families to enjoy a holiday. The Penguin Hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes' walk from Ocean Kingdom. The hotel rooms are clean and uniquely designed, with cute and themed wall art. The design of the Penguin Restaurant and food street, allowing guests to observe penguins up close, is also commendable! The only downside was that the restaurant was extremely crowded and chaotic on the day we had the buffet, as it coincided with a public holiday in China. Enjoying a meal while watching the fireworks at the high-rise Fireworks Terrace Chinese Restaurant is a fantastic experience with a superb view! As for the design of Ocean Kingdom and Chimelong Spaceship, it truly deserves praise. A three-day, two-night trip is the minimum recommended, as two days and one night is not enough. We highly recommend visiting again and again!

This is my favorite place to stay. It's so worth it, I can't even express how much. The staff are attentive, the room is clean, there's no cigarette smell, and the room is charming. It has amenities and several bottles of water with cute designs that my child loved. It's a beautiful hotel, perfect for someone like me who loves penguins. Cleanliness: The room is extremely clean.

This hotel is awesome for kids! There are tons of activities, both free and paid. It's super close to Ocean Kingdom, and there's actually a walkway that takes you right into the park. The restaurant even has a penguin aquarium that you can check out while you’re enjoying breakfast or any other meals. They also provide cute baby amenities, which is great. During my stay, I joined in on their activities and ended up getting some cool gifts, too!

Value package includes accommodation, breakfast, Chimelong Show admission, Chimelong Spaceship, and unlimited Ocean Kingdom access for 3 days and 2 nights, perfect for families with children. The shows are spectacular and worth the price, featuring orcas, belugas, and whale sharks. A wide variety of breakfast options are available, allowing you to enjoy your meal while watching the penguins.

Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, well-equipped. Adult and child toothbrushes are provided, so there's no need to bring your own toiletries. Service: It's right next to Ocean Kingdom. You can enter and play for a while while waiting for your hotel room. You can also purchase the evening buffet on-site for 2 adults and 1 child at a discounted price, which includes ice cream and access to the ball pit. Breakfast: Many choices, with a good selection of drinks and Chinese food. There are also penguins to see nearby. If you want a table with a view of the penguins, you'll need to get there early to secure a spot.

smooth and fast check in. we didn’t make it to the show the first night (default to be first night by the package). we managed to change the date to the other day with a small admin fee of RMB30/ person. the room was nice and spacious with lots of penguin designs. we had a great time during the stay. penguin hotel breakfast is not to be missed either.

This isn't our first stay, and the kids absolutely loved it and had a fantastic time. The buffet at the Penguin Hotel was also very satisfying. When one of the children got hurt in the ball pit, the staff were very proactive in helping with an ice pack. This is our fifth visit to the Spaceship Theme Park. Since it's indoors, the weather doesn't affect anything, and there are many shows. Every time we come, we make sure to visit the Whale's Life restaurant, where we can dine while watching the whales. It feels so relaxing and carefree!

The room was excellent, I was very impressed. The service was great; you could request drinking water, pillows, and bed rails for free. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were soft, making it very comfortable to sleep in.
