Gyeongbokgung Hanbok & Hairstyling Experience

This is the most emotional experience in Korea!!!👏🏻 This is something you definitely need to do! You are given time to choose a costume, then they help you put it on. The price includes two hairstyle options, but for a small extra charge you can choose a much better one - I recommend! The girls in the salon will quickly make you a beauty! We were with my husband - for a small extra charge we took a hat for him. The prices are good, it is definitely worth taking additional accessories. Then the rental time begins, we had two hours. In two hours we managed to walk in hanboks along the alleys, around the territory of a large palace and through the gardens! If you do not have a photographer, like we did, take a tripod, and do not hesitate to ask passers-by to take a photo for you! A huge number of people, just like you, will be walking in hanboks in a good mood and helping each other. Hanboks are very comfortable! If you came to Korea, then renting a hanbok is something you should definitely try!👍

The shop is conveniently located near gyeongbokgung train station. There’s also a life4cut just adjacent to the shop so it’s a good place to take more photos in hanbok! It closes at 7pm so have to return before that. It includes simple hairstyling and handbag which is useful! A lot of designs to choose from so it might take a while to decide which to get!

first of all u need to wear a petticoat cause its very cold me and my family just wear the hanbok only,we take 4 hour session because is too cold and windy we end 2 and the half hour only the rest is good. we have a good view and enjoy.The hanbok price is acceptable and beautiful..

My wife and I decided to rent hanboks during our trip to Seoul, and it was such a fun experience! We chose a vibrant, traditional design and felt like we had stepped back in time. Wandering through Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace in our hanboks was amazing. The best part? We got free entry to the palaces! It was a fantastic way to immerse ourselves in Korean culture and take some beautiful photos.

The staff speak Chinese well and are very helpful. The shop is conveniently located beside Gyeongbokgung Palace. We rented the hanbok for 4 hours, which was very flexible and allowed us to visit Bukchon Hanok Village and enjoy lunch along the way. There were many hanbok styles to choose from. Please note that there is an extra charge for special hairstyling and winter jackets.

I went on a weekday. I arrived around 9:30 and immediately chose my traditional Korean dress. At this point, it wasn't crowded at all and there was plenty of room inside the store. There was a staff member who spoke Japanese and was very friendly and talked to me about various things. The hair styling was also done very efficiently and I was ready in no time. They also gave me a cute bag for free. (It was just the right size to fit my cell phone, a small wallet, and a charger.) It was a 5-minute walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace, and I didn't need a ticket because it was free to enter if I was wearing a traditional Korean dress. There were so many photo spots that I took loads of photos. When it's sunny, the contrast with the buildings is even more beautiful.

There are many hanbok options ☺️ The staff also helps with styling, and you can add a petticoat for the top, which makes it easier to walk without stepping on the skirt 😅 There are a few hairstyles to choose from, and the staff are very skilled at styling them 👌 Some people on the street didn't have such nice hair 👀 Luckily, we chose the right place. It's also a short walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace, and every photo turns out great.
