Yogyakarta Private Car Rental with Driver

Had an amazing day trip with Josh! We visited Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Temple. Josh was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend him as your guide when visiting Yogyakarta! 😊✨

Didi, who took care of us in Yogyakarta, was an amazing driver. I only mentioned wanting to try civet coffee and Monggo chocolate, but he actually took us to a place where there were civets and we could husk the beans ourselves, and to a shop where we could eat Monggo chocolate ice cream. Both experiences exceeded our expectations. He helped us visit the ruins while avoiding the rain, and even took us to all the places I thought would be impossible to see given the time. It was a world of difference compared to the terrible Klook car charter service in Jakarta. Thank you so much, Didi!! 🤩

My driver, Anto, is incredibly professional and reliable, making my customized itinerary seamless. As a solo female traveler, I felt so fortunate to have such a reassuring and trustworthy driver. Anto is highly knowledgeable. He not only shared a lot about the local culture but was also eager to teach me some Indonesian phrases, which made my trip so much fun. He took me to try plenty of local delicacies and even prepared drinks and snacks for me. Thank you, Anto! I highly recommend him—he is a 10/10 (more like 100/10!) driver and tour guide. If I ever visit Yogyakarta again, I will definitely book him as my guide without hesitation!

We had an absolutely amazing day thanks to our driver Anto! 🚐✨ Our itinerary was quite full – from the Kraton with the gamelan performance, to Borobudur, Prambanan, a wonderful sunset dinner and ballet at Rama Shinta Garden Resto – but everything went perfectly thanks to his professionalism. Anto was extremely kind, friendly, and cheerful, always with a smile and ready to help us at any moment. He showed great patience waiting for us and picking us up at each stop, never making us feel rushed. His driving was safe and comfortable, and we truly felt welcomed and cared for throughout the whole day. We highly recommend Anto to anyone who wants to enjoy an unforgettable experience in Yogyakarta: he is not just a driver, but a wonderful person who makes the journey even more special! 🙌💯

We had the best driver. First, he arrived a little early, and despite it being 6 AM, he wasn't late. His driving was very careful. He followed our plans perfectly and didn't try to force us to visit other tourist spots. At each attraction, he waited patiently for us. He was also accommodating when we had a sudden change of plans on the day. He even stopped at a durian shop along the way. It made for a wonderful trip. Please note that IDR 100K is needed for the driver's lunch. There are also area and distance fees, so a trip to Jomblang Cave will require an additional IDR 300K.

The driver assigned to us, Mr/Pak Anto, was early meeting us at our hotel Melia Purosani. He also reached out to me via WA the day before although the company texted me as soon as the booking was confirmed, to ask me what I wanted to do and also suggested some places when I was undecided. Pak Anto was very assuring, friendly and drove us to all the places we wanted to go to shop, eat and sight see. He also assisted my mum up and down the hills, stairs and jeep for our adventure to Pantai Timang. My mum is super happy. He is a very good safe driver. thank you to Pak Anto. Highly recommended. excellent price point. Very good, comfy car.

Anto was the sweetest driver! He made sure we arrived safely at every destination and took such good care of us throughout our trip. Although he isn’t the most fluent in English, he always tried his best to communicate with us — and his kindness, warmth, and constant smile made it so easy to connect with him. Would 10/10 recommend Anto as a driver! 😊 Just a small note for future travellers: there are additional surcharges if you travel beyond Yogyakarta’s city centre (for example, to Borobudur Temple), and if you exceed 100km per day, there are extra charges too.
