Tom, our guide was awesome. Spoke perfect English, friendly and polite. Thsnks for a fun trip.
This tour requires minimum 4 person to go ahead, so I was transferred to another tour, VIP Mekong Delta tour, which I believe is another listing on Klook. Which I feel is pretty much a waste of time. Extremely commercialised tour. The only non-commercised experience is the temple. In which we simply goes in to take a few photos and that's it. We went to 1) Coconut shop 2) Silk Factory 3) Honey Shop 4) Lunch 5) Boat ride (1 main boat and then 1 smaller boat for tourist [see pic]) 6) Temple We spent a lot more time at the coconut farm, honey shop (take take photo with a snake), music performance before going on a boat ride. Tour guide made zero effort to explain the life and significance of the Mekong Delta. The only attraction of the Mekong Delta was simply the fact that you are on the Mekong Delta (at least I think I am on one of the river way, that's how little information the tour guide gave us, more interested in selling us coconut candies) The lunch was good though. Limousine bus was very comfortable but this tour made me felt like I wasted my time.
Our tour guide Mr.big David gave us many advice and tips for traveling in Vietnam, it is helpful.
Our tour guide Eddie is a very very nice guy, with his abundant knowledge and experience in the destination together with his good attitude, we had a good time. Thanks Eddie.
Thank you chau for the tour. Informative and fun even with the unpredictable weather. Welcoming and easy to understand
the river cruise is amazing, breath taking. cycling is relaxing. guide tien is a good guide, not like some guide r boring.
The trip was very commercial, we went to the coconut shop, the honey shop, it just felt like an alternative shopping itinerary. And another place to eat fruit, there are performances but tipping is required. The cooking class is not exactly a cooking class, it is just rolling spring rolls and frying batter. We didn't go to the floating market either. The life jackets for the canoe trip were very dirty and full of mold, the bicycle tires for the bicycle trip were flat, and three of the ten people in the same group had broken bicycles and could not ride the entire journey, and the riding route was also very bad. The steel bars were exposed, and I almost fell to the steel bars, and there would always be motorcycles honking along the road, so I couldn't enjoy it at all!
We had a very meaningful trip to Mekong. It was such a peaceful experience and we learnt a lot of their traditions, culture and history. Thank you also to our tour guide Nelson as he taught us a lot. Food was so great!
Not what was expected . When you read or opt for Mekong delta , you expect lush and beautiful delta . This tour was extremely commercial . We went from coconut shop to honey shop ( which they sell as bee farm) . It felt like it was just to buy overpriced local stuff . Moreover cooking class wasn’t exactly cooking class . Would recommend other tours over this one . I asked if we were gonna go near those banana plantations with beautiful view ( the typic Mekong delta pics that we see) but I was told that it’s a different tour and not this one .
Hi, we thank you for raising your concerns and sharing feedback on your experience - it is regrettable that things weren't up to your expectations with your booking Discover Mekong Delta with Kayaking Boat ride Biking and optional Cooking Class. This isn't what we'd hoped to hear and will be taking this as honest, constructive feedback to share within the team and merchants. What we'll do for you, is report this back to the merchant on your behalf. That said, we thank you again for choosing to book with Klook and hope to serve you again. Sincerely, Sya
Alex is a very experienced guide who gave detailed explanation of the histoy of Ho Chi Minh City. He is a talent musician and singer who received great applauds from the audiences in the show. Despite it was raining heavily, he led us enjoy cycling and kayaking which are definitely memorable to us.
