'New Normal’ protocols:
Due to the current situation, please find the new operating practices effective from the July 1, 2020until further notice:
- Temperature check at the hotel/pick up point by the staff before getting into the vehicle. If a visitor's temperature is higher then 37.5 °C, he/she would be tested again after 5 minutes. If temperature remains at 37.5°C or above, Elephant Jungle Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse the customer from joining the tour and in the case of a high-temperature visitor, full refund is available only for that specific visitor, not for the whole booking.
- All visitors are expected to put on a face mask throughout the duration of the tour, excluding eating time. If they do not have one upon pick-up, visitor can buy the masks from the driver (20 Baht). If visitors refusing to wear the face mask are not allowed to enter the camp and the tour will be canceled without refund.
- Each car will seat 5 to 6 visitors depending on the car type. No visitors will be allowed to sit in the front with our drivers.
- Visitors are expected to clean their hands with the alcohol gel provided before getting into the vehicle.
- The tour will be separated into groups of 6.
- All visitors are expected to wash their hand with soap and water before proceeding to touch the elephant’s food.
- All visitors are encouraged to observe social distancing with at least a 1 metre gap between each other.
- Our facility is sanitised at the start and end at the end of every session.
- Provided buffet during tours will be swapped for pre-packed meals to prevent cross contamination.
- Shower with the elephant will allow the customer to join with rain shower or hose pipe only.
- Mud spa with the elephants will be changed to Observe elephants playing in the mud.

we had a wonderful time, we wash, fed, and mud bath the elephants, it was fabulous experience for a half day, the lunch was great, we also had tie dye activity.

Excellent tour experience! The Elephants were happy and full of personality. The drivers were punctual and the Elephant keepers and guide were excellent full of fun facts and information.
100% recommend the half day activity ! all the sanctuary staff is adorable, plenty of explanation and jokes ! you get to spend a lot of time with the elephants, feed them, pet them and shower them 😄

There are 5 elephants in total at the sanctuary. Each person gets a fruit basket to feed two of the elephants. You can take pictures with the other three and watch them roam around the grounds. The funds the organization raises is used to rescue more elephants from circuses and shows.
We went with our 10 and 4 years old sons. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience especially for the kids. The rescued elephants are well looked after in there. It was good value for money. We fed and bathed the elephants. We also did Thai dye and prepared papaya salad. Highly recommended for families with kids. Better to go on a cloudy day as the elephants prefer cooler day.
Lovely elephants!! They are all so polite and excited to eat the watermelons for snacks. Trainers/guides are also super friendly. loved this experience. (do note that it might be less than an hour, depending on your speed of feeding the elephants)
