Local Food Exploration Evening Tour in Kuala Lumpur

This was the best tour I have ever done anywhere!! It’s a walking tour and we tried so many dishes. The guide (Yoga) was so knowledgeable and went over an above in every way! we caught the monorail the train and walked all included in the tour. We tried food, desserts, fruit, drinks, hot and cold! I cannot recommend this tour enough. This is a must do if you go to Kuala Lumpur!!! make sure you are starving when you start this tour as you eat so much food! you can even take some home with you if you can’t finish it.

Yoga has been a great and knowledgable guide to show all the special food which the Malaysian capital has to offer especially at night. The selected places helped a lot at the following days of our stay in this vibrant city. While walking he told us a bit about the history of the city and the food places. Every dish has been tasty and a joy to eat. At the end of the tour he gave a ride back to our hotel which hasn't been part our package. Don't miss this tour when you love to eat.

Really enjoyed ourselves regardless of the heavy rain. Sasi our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable not only about the food but also the history and culture of Malaysia. The rain prevented us from walking far, so we were driven around, which was fine by us. Would highly recommend this tour.

it was a good tour, lionel was a great guide and brought us to places that locals eat and not any tourist traps. Bring cash (50 myr) for local shops as they dont accept card.

The Greatest Tour. We expected the guide to be knowledgeable according to the reviews here, but Sasi completely exceeded our expectations. While visiting Malay food places, an Indian food restaurant, a durian stall, and Chinese food street, Sasi shared not only simple explanations but also the rich history and background of the food, the city, and even who typically enjoys each dishes. Sasi perfectly adjusted the tour course based on our appetite and what we had already seen before the tour. He also stopped by an Indian store we happened to pass and found interesting at the time, and shared his wonderful knowledge about the "third eye." Malaysia and KL city have many hidden interesting things that foreigners like us can't find without a truly great guide. Both I, who have visited KL around 10 times, and my partner, who visited KL for the first time, absolutely enjoyed the guide. We strongly recommend this tour to anyone who seeks to know the food, history, and culture of KL city, a bit more than just an ordinary visitor. We also recommend coming with an empty stomach and not eating too much of the very delicious food offered at the beginning of the tour. Thank you Sasi!

Our tour guide Rajah brought us to different street food sites. We started with Malay, followed by Indian, then Chinese. It was a wonderful experience to taste the different flavors of Malaysia.

It is a highly recommended tour for those who want to experience culinary delights that locales love and offer with pride. Our tour guide, Lucas, is a convivial fellow. He is very knowledgeable of local and national history and politics. We had a great night despite the intermittent rains. We also had dessert which is equivalent to our (Philippines)halo halo. Do not miss this experience as he walks you through the origin and process how these local delicacies will satisfy you gustatory cravings!

What a great way to learn about Kuala Lumpur and experience the many foods on offfer. Our guide was where friendly and knowledgeable and it was a lovely evening. We also had the chance the take the monorail and a local train. Our guide organised everything and the price included the travel and the food. It was fabulous.

食事：This tour is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a little bit of local food. Our guide, Sashi, was very kind. Fried bananas Pisang Goreng are apparently a snack in Malaysia and are eaten with milk tea. We bought some at an open-air stall. I had delicious nasi lemak and satey. You need coins to ride the train. Since we were the only group on the tour that day, our guide called a taxi for us back to the hotel. Thank you, Mr.Sashi.

Sasi was a great tour guide. He filled us in on all the basics of Malay, Indian, and Chinese food and he showed us where we can get the most authentic dishes. Its a great tour to get the gist of all the cuinse that Malaysia has to offer. The tour was a mix of walking, driving and hopping on the MRT.
