Located in the heart of Melaka, our hands-on cooking classes empower individuals of all ages to master traditional Baba Nyonya dishes and desserts. Our guests leave not only with new culinary skills but also cherished memories, as they share laughter and joy while cooking in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We will reimburse guest with store vouchers for your travel cost: RM15/guest for 45 mins, Quick taste class RM20/guest for 60 mins, Explorer class RM25/guest for 120 mins, Immersive class
Good to know
- Check-in closes promptly at the scheduled class start time. This is to avoid interruptions and to respect other guests who have arrived on time.
- Late arrivals may not be permitted to join the class, and no refund will be issued in such cases.
- We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your class start time for check-in.
Reviews
Since there were no other participants on the day of my visit, I had a one-on-one lesson learning how to make four types of Nyonya kuih. The classroom was new and clean. The instructor was easy to talk to and patiently answered all my questions. Since I was alone, I also enjoyed chatting about topics other than Nyonya kuih, such as local food and travel. I highly recommend this as a great way to add a cooking experience to your sightseeing itinerary.
As a city dweller, I am very glad to be able to share this traditional heritage experience with my daughter. We had a fun time making all the kuih and even get a chance to try our hands on the antique Ice shaving machine for our chendol (it’s not as easy as it looks! Try it for yourself! hehe) The facility is clean and comfortable. Creative 3D illustrations decorated the walls, great for your photo session. Instructor is very friendly and welcoming. Location is not too far, about 30mins by foot from Jonker Street or a 10mins car ride away. Definitely recommend the experience!

The experience was so much fun! The environment was very clean, and it was just me and my friend that day. The instructor introduced everything and taught us with great care, giving us a lot of encouragement along the way 😆. They were also very enthusiastic about taking photos for us and answered all our questions without hesitation~~
