Honestly one of the most fun things I did in Tokyo 😂 I went in just wanting to see some sumo and ended up learning way more about the sport and its traditions than I expected. The whole crew was super nice and hilarious. They involve the audience a lot too, which made it way more fun than just sitting there watching a show. And Tenma and Muzashi were definitely the highlight 😂 Both of them were hilarious and absolute units. I was having a great time watching them until I realized there was a chance they might bring people from the audience into the ring 💀 Really fun experience, learned a lot, laughed a lot, and would 100% recommend it if you’re in Tokyo!
amazing performance and they were very engaging to the audience. Very foreigner friendly. The host translated everything and guided us throughout the performance. Worth all the money🥳🩵
Five stars all around! Super awesome location in the Tokyo Tower. Extremely interactive with audience and made sure to make the experience as fun as possible! They really made us feel welcome! Would 100% go back!!!
great show for the family. The entire cast gave my kids attention and made it so much fun for them.
this was the best a tivity of Japan. Loved this one. got pics with sumos
amazing show
so my partner and I booked this because we wanted to experience seeing sumo wrestling in Japan. we were unhappy with the cost for the seats weren’t necessary paying for front row VIP, it wasn’t a real sumo match it was choreographed which only occurred for 15 mins over 1.5 hour show. the host was American which we thought we would of appreciated having a Japanese host. they spent a lot of time explaining sumo wrestling rules and about the game which took up too much time. there was a big distinction between the sumo wrestling matches they showed us on screens to what we saw. yes there were two real sumo wrestlers there but like I said the matches were choreographed. the meal was average. for $259 per person not worth it should of spent more time researching other sumo experiences. then 30 mins was taken up by selecting audience members to wrestle the sumo wrestlers which was boring and one person took it to seriously and the sumo wrestler knocked over the host.
I eagerly rushed to the show venue, but the operator said they couldn't find my reservation. After struggling at the front desk for a long time and still finding nothing, they had me show this and that document, and finally told me to just go ahead and enter, making it feel like a favor. Then they told me dinner would be delayed because it wasn't prepared in time. When I reported this to the platform, they claimed the operator found the reservation in just 10 minutes. That's ridiculous, it's sheer deception! If they found the reservation, why didn't they inform me immediately and apologize? The experience was terrible; how can anyone trust service like this? The platform's response was also extremely unprofessional and disappointing!
