Great trip, everything went smoothly, we stopped at a lots of view points and could also do sone walking along Oirase stream, and on top of Hakkoda. The driver was very attentive. I was in a small group of 4 people. We stopped shortly at some other viewpoints and the museum of snow walk disaster on the way back. The steaming buns “butt onsen” was a nice surprise.

Driver Mr. Toyoshima was extremely responsible and thoughtful. Upon arriving at Mount Hakkoda, he reminded group members that the temperature at the summit was only 10 degrees Celsius and to remember to bring jackets. The Oirase Gorge was breathtaking; walking along the trail was a bit tiring, but entirely worth it. Lake Towada was magnificent, with its stunning blend of water and sky offering a beauty different from Oirase Gorge. Watching the sunset at Jogakura Ohashi Bridge made this a trip well worth taking.

The driver-guide added a few extra stops to the itinerary, and also arranged half an Aomori corn cob for each passenger. Plus, the driver was very polite.

Since there were only 7 people in our tour group, a 7-seater vehicle that fit exactly 7 people was arranged, along with a Japanese guide-cum-driver who spoke a little English to show us around. Sitting in the very back row was extremely uncomfortable for me. Because the space was so tight, three of us were crammed in the back with nowhere to put our belongings. The drive was also long, and I wanted to sleep but was afraid of bumping into the fellow tour member next to me. Although I am grateful the driver adjusted the front seats slightly forward to give the passengers in the back more space, it did not help much because the vehicle itself was genuinely very small, and I do not understand why the organizer arranged this particular car. Having previously joined small group tours with other companies that were cheaper and provided individual seats for everyone, I personally feel that paying this price for a tour while having to sit in such a small vehicle for an entire day is not worth it at all. Furthermore, the ticket purchasing process for the Hakkodatasan Ropeway was chaotic. Some other tour members and I had opted in advance to purchase ropeway tickets through Klook. Although the price was double the on-site rate, I chose to buy them beforehand to save time standing in line for tickets and to maximize the time available for viewing the scenery. To my surprise, when we arrived at the site, we still had to wait in line ourselves to get tickets. Moreover, our time at this attraction was only about an hour, and we had to coordinate with the ropeway's descent schedule, resulting in only spending about 10 minutes at the summit before heading back down, which cut into my sightseeing time. Although the ticket money was eventually refunded, the time spent communicating with customer service ruined my mood for the entire day. Even though the organizer's arrangements were highly inappropriate, our driver-guide, Ms. Nakamura, was extremely kind and polite, enthusiastically introduced the attractions, and even gave us drinks. We are very grateful for her efforts.

I came to Aomori with my friends and used Klook to visit the Oirase Gorge. The driver picked us up directly from the hotel, which made for a refreshing start to the morning. The vehicle was in great condition, and the driver was so skilled that even while going up and down the high mountains, we traveled comfortably without any motion sickness. Since the driver informed us that the Hakkoda Ropeway wouldn't offer much of a view due to the fog even if it ran, they recommended the Towada Art Center instead, which turned out to be an excellent choice. On the way back after finishing our itinerary, the driver took a different route so we could fully enjoy the unexpected autumn mountain scenery. They even dropped us off at the Mega Don Quijote, waited for us, and brought us back to the hotel, making our trip extremely convenient and pleasant.
