Norbulingka

Norbulingka, meaning "Treasure Garden," is the summer palace where successive Dalai Lamas conducted their summer affairs, housing a large number of relics and treasures. The garden is divided into three areas: the front park with the eastern entrance pavilion, the central core palace area, and the western Golden Linka area, which is mainly composed of plant jungles. Norbulingka boasts a beautiful environment with a wide variety and abundance of plants and flowers, and dense tree shade, resembling Lhasa's "Shangri-La."
