Jianshui Confucius Temple

The Jianshui Confucius Temple, located on Lin'an Road in Jianshui County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, is the third largest Confucius Temple in China, with its architectural scale second only to the Qufu Confucius Temple and the Beijing Confucius Temple. As the highest institution of Confucian culture in the southern Yunnan region, this ancient architectural complex, originally built in the Yuan Dynasty, has undergone centuries of renovation and expansion and remains well-preserved today.
