Hurghada Desert Half-Day Safari with Stargazing & BBQ

Great activity to see the landscape of the mountains around Hurghada. We had a wonderful driver called Ossama who brought as by Jeep. it's a 1.5 h way approx, but for me at least is enjoyable (but if you're sensitive to getting car sick maybe bring some pills. the way to get there is quite bumpy). The Bedouin camp is beautiful and enjoyable. The organizing team is attentive, energetic and fun. We were greeted with water and tea, then brought up the hill to watch the landscape and sunset 🤩 we got a short camel ride (3 min) and some dinner afterwards. At dark we could enjoy watching the stars from the comfy sofas while being explained by Max the different constelations. He was a fun guy and would answer all questions. We finished by looking through telescopes (big and good ones). We saw Saturn with the rings! It was pretty impressive. Overall, a very complete day, felt comfortable at all times. Thanks to the organisers!

It's alright, a good way to experience the desert of stars and rivers. 1. We booked a car that picks you up at the hotel; make sure to check if you are within the pickup zone. 2. Upon arrival at the camp, the tour guide gives a brief overview of the attractions. 3. Camel riding: about 3 to 5 minutes for a quick loop to take a few photos. 4. Climb up the hillside to watch the sunset and take some photos. 5. Dinner: the roasted chicken was pretty good and flavorful. 6. There is a simple performance during dinner. 7. Stargazing session: it is recommended to bring a tripod in advance and look up mobile photography tips.

We were picked up at the hotel entrance at 3:30 PM during daylight saving time. The journey was long and bumpy, but the moment we saw the starry sky, it was all worth it! It's completely on par with the starry sky in Siwa. The desert here is pebbly, and you can even climb a hill to watch the sunset. It is definitely worth it. Dinner was a simple buffet, and the value for money is very high.

Great half-day desert tour! The pickup was on time, the process was smooth, and the Bedouin camp experience was very special. The biggest surprise was getting amazing photos of the breathtaking starry sky in the desert! Excellent value for the price!

The pick-up driver was very punctual, the environment was nice, and everything was just as described in the itinerary. Everyone was given a complimentary bottle of water, a free 3-minute camel ride, and a buffet dinner. The starry sky was breathtaking, and the guide gave an English presentation about the constellations. It was a fantastic experience.

It was beautiful. Riding in the desert felt like getting a massage. Upon arrival at the camp, water and tea were provided, followed by exploring local food and culture. Then, we rode camels and watched the desert sunset. Finally, we gathered for dinner and stargazing, with a telescope available to view the moon's surface. It was a very comfortable and relaxing trip.

The tour was quite boring until the buffet part (the melon was good, the beef was delicious, and it was easy to eat) and stargazing, which was truly beautiful. The tour guide spoke English, but it was hard to understand.

No complaints at all. Other participants were late, and the moon was too bright so we couldn't see as many stars as expected, but that wasn't the tour's fault, so I have no complaints whatsoever. The return transportation also dropped us off right in front of our hotel. If you take this tour, I'd recommend going on a new moon.
