Tokyo :"Black"Onsen Experience, Kimono Photos & Local Guide Walk

After the bath, we wore our Yukatas(easy-Kimono) and had our complimentary drink upstairs. The atmosphere in the lounge was so warm and lively—some friendly locals were even singing karaoke! It was an unforgettable, cozy experience.

experience: We really wanted to experience a traditional Ryokan but didn’t have the time or budget to travel out to Hakone or Kyoto. This 'Ryokan-Style' tour in a local Sento was a genius concept. For a fraction of the price, we got the "black" hot spring, the beautiful Yukata experience, and the peaceful Tatami lounge. The guide met us at the station, took us through a nostalgic shopping street, and helped us order cheap and delicious local food at the lounge after our soak. It’s the ultimate hidden gem in Tokyo.

This was one of the best afternoons we spent in Tokyo. Black onsen was amazing! It started with a fun walk from the station where our guide showed us the Moyai statue and the history of the local shopping streets. The bathhouse itself was wonderful and totally hassle-free because everything from towels to soap was provided.
