I knew the tour was in Vietnamese and had been warned about the wind, so neither was a surprise. However, the experience was disappointing. Kỳ Co may be beautiful on a sunny day, but in cloudy, windy conditions it was nowhere near the “Maldives of Vietnam”, and we had only 1h at the beach. The snorkeling equipment was unacceptable: outdated masks from the 70s and life jackets with loose straps or unsuitable sizes. The transparent-bottom boat was nice, but had no ladder to get in/out, making it dangerous. The guide was enthusiastic, but spoke continuously throughout the van journey.🙄🤯 I used ChatGPT to understand him and was shocked by the amount of information — essentially a lecture on local history, politics, tourism and economics. Information is valuable, but sightseeing also needs silence. Sometimes tourists simply want to enjoy the view.The specialty-shop stop also felt like an obvious sales funnel Lunch was good. After travelling in 54 countries this was not a good experience

It was a shame we couldn't do the coral island tour because the waves were too high. It was a pretty good tour otherwise.

The quality of the tour guide's transportation was excellent. Although my companion and I were the only non-locals on the tour, the guide was very thoughtful, using a translator to explain things and lead us on the trip, for which we are very grateful. If I visit Quy Nhon again, I would love to experience this tour once more.
