It was a wonderful day spent in the waters on Seto Inland Sea. Yasuhiro-san was friendly, and despite him saying he can't speak English, we communicated just fine. He explained the route before heading out. He provided kayak/water shoes (definitely better than flip flops), PFD, and a kayak skirt. The kayaking was smooth and the views were stunning. We glided by local shrines, stopped at Abuto Kannon and our "private dock", a national park, and stopped off for lunch at a cute cafe (in gear and all). We left around 9 and returned around 4. If coming from Fukuyama take the local bus at stop5 all the way to the end.
