Kyoto Kimono Rental Experience, Photo Shoot, and Family (Aiwa Fuku Kyoto 6 Stores)

We were very late for our appointment. Very thankful that they allowed us to continue with them. We chose the kimono quickly and they helped us to dress up. They even did our hair beautifully. We had a pleasant and good experience with them. The lady can explain in English and Chinese languages. Will definitely choose their service again!

I've been to this place before in 2019 so I booked them again, this time with my partner. they're still so good, quick and friendly. lots of kimono and hairstyles to choose from. even the sandals were comfortable for me. highly recommend this place if you guys want to look cute in kimono.

staff were extremely friendly and helpful as someone doing this for the first time. didn’t feel awkward at all. There was a slight mixup of the locations however they still accommodated to us and allowed us to do the experience at that store (despite reserving a different location). we purchased the lace kimono package and it was definitely value for money as they were very beautiful garments. for anyone nervous about the changing experience they provide a curtain off area and undergarments to put on over your thermals/clothes. The staff were very fast and efficient and took less than 30 minutes to complete the whole process of dressing and styling hair. Would definitely book with this company again! location: extremely close to the Kiyomizu-dera shrine, easily accessible to the shops and surrounding streets for great photo opportunities.

The staff are very friendly and smiling, which makes you feel happy. There was a Taiwanese staff member on site and communication was no problem. The clothes and hairstyles are beautiful and there are many choices. Later, I added a little more makeup and it was only 1,200 yen, which was a good deal. The makeup artist is a manager who is very skilled and fast. I made a miscalculation on the return trip and the staff waited for us to return our clothes after get off work. I'm really sorry and grateful to the staff for waiting for us. You should pay a late fee. What's more important is to be on time.

nice and friendly staff, easy to communicate. Many kawaii kimonos to choose from, and so much talent in hair styling. highly recommend it to those who want a special experience in Kyoto.

It was such a quick and great experience for all of the members my family. Every staff was very nice and recommended the best Kimono for all of us. They even recommended which accessories fits the one's we've chosen.

You chose a blue color that you have never tried before and curly bangs, thinking you are girly? Actually I’m not used to it 🤭 I’m lucky to have the blue sky and the combination is so beautiful ❤️ (= Explosive Heat 🔥) As for the kimono, I chose Gion’s #Kyoto物レンタル爱kimono. It’s okay, but it’s not a store I would highly recommend because it’s too far away from Kiyomizudera Temple. It’s… It’s a long way to get there after getting dressed. If your destination is Kiyomizudera Temple, you can find another hotel. If you want to take the subway to take photos elsewhere, it’s very suitable (it’s close to the subway) and it’s available before 16:30. Otherwise, the price will increase, we are in a hurry! But the overall price and service are okay! It’s just a long way

it’s a really special experience! the employees are so nice, and the quality of Kimomos are quite decent. they also did a nice hairstyle for women. really is a sehr günstig place!

The shop is just few steps away from keihan line and easy to locate. They are accomodating… really assisted us. We love our kimono and enjoyed the experience of wearing their cultural dress.

It's a great kimono experience, and even if I booked it late, although there is only one lady who can speak Japanese in the store, he also helped me call another store to find a lady who can speak Chinese with me. Let me explain in detail the time and method of use, and because I was the last time to go, it was about two or three o'clock in the afternoon, so the store also let me wear it directly all day long, until I went to Gion to eat delicious Wagyu set meals at night.
