What to expect
LOALOA is a multisensory feast where fine dining and performing arts converge to narrate the soul of Vietnamese heritage. Set within the historic Independence Palace, the venue’s architecture embodies the ancient “Square Earth - Round Sky” cosmology. Here, the square hall represents the grounded Mother Earth, while the circular stage and soaring “Chim Lac” (Lac bird) imagery symbolize the eternal flow of culture. More than just a show, VietCharm invites you to See, Hear, Taste, and Feel—living within the heritage rather than just observing it.

The heart and soul were put into these performances. Very well thought out and each performance lets your mind and soul roam through each region from Vietnam. Historical context from performances to the cuisine. Definetly soul taking. Make sure to come on an empty stomach as the meals were plenty, and carefully prepared. Our favorite part of the show were the musicians.
After each performance, one dish is served, for a total of 8 dishes. The menu includes: appetizer, pho, fish, shrimp, chicken, beef, and sweet soup. The portions are not large, but the dishes are delicious and exquisite, and you'll feel satisfied. The total dining time is 2 hours. Each performance is quite spectacular and worth experiencing.
VietCharm is a highly recommended experience when visiting Ho Chi Minh City. The program harmoniously blends music, dance, traditional culture, and Vietnamese cuisine, offering a visually stunning and emotionally rich experience. The performance venue is meticulously designed with a 360-degree stage, allowing the audience to easily immerse themselves in each act. The professionally choreographed performances showcase the beauty of Vietnamese culture in a modern way while preserving its national identity. Notably, the combination of performing arts and culinary experiences creates a truly unique multi-sensory journey. It is perfectly suited for both international tourists and Vietnamese locals who wish to explore their country's culture in a fresh and innovative way.
While not a spectacular show, it was still quite interesting! The staff were all very friendly. After being seated, I informed the server that I don't eat beef, and they immediately arranged for the restaurant to substitute the beef with vegetarian meat when serving the dishes. There were eight courses and eight performances. The food tasted good, so you can rest assured.
A must-see show. An impressive experience. The artists were very approachable. The food was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. There should be more shows like this in Vietnam.
This was a very special event. At the end, there was a song in English welcoming us to Vietnam. The staff were all very friendly. I highly recommend coming to experience this, with performances and traditional customs from all over Vietnam. You can even take photos with the performers at the end.
